I've tried every just about every brand of lighting charging cable I've come across. The first thing that fails is the contacts. While real ones tend to work even if they look destroyed.

Nothing beats a factory adapter. About the same price as aftermarket units when on sale and discounted by bundling with other accessories. I highly recommend purchasing this way.

I've used 3rd party Lightning cables before that fell apart after a few months. The cables made my Apple, while more expensive, are very sturdy and tend to last for what seems like forever. Worth the price.

Very reliable and lob cord and charges my iPhone quickly.

Needed to buy this because Apple likes to ensure that only their cables work the most reliable. Third party companies don’t always conduct the correct power to the device. Also, sometimes they don’t work when you plug it into your laptop because it doesn’t read as authentic. Sucks that it’s so expensive but you need to have one.

It is a great addition to my other gadgets and one that truly works. I always leave them with friends during my travels to other countries and they are delighted to have the product.

I like the longer cord as the shorter one just never gives me enough length to put my phone on my night table or just wherever. I just prefer the longer cord
