The longer the better so far it was great product no problem so far

Staying with the Apple brand cord instead of the off-brand. The 6 ft of cord allows more room to reach a plug for recharging.

The off name brands are cheaper but burn out. Gotta go with the apple one. It will save you $ in the long rub

6.6' is perfect for when you want to lie in bed and use your phone while it's charging. Almost impossible to go back to the regular short USB cable that came with my iPhone now. It is definitely a luxury to have but makes life so much more convenient and comfortable. One thing is that it still tends to also fray eventually like all the other Apple cables.

Can never have enough length to your lightening charge cable. Durable, reliable and works all the time.

You may find cheaper cords, but Apple's cords last longer and work perfectly with their products.

We purchased 6.6 ft Apple lightning cable because the last one was eaten by the dog (no, really!!). The cable was too short at 3.3 ft and kept getting pulled out when moving. I wanted to replace it but figured I do that when it ripped/broke. Well, once the dog destroyed the short cable we purchased the longer cable. Now we have more leeway to move the iPad around and keep it away from the animal or tripping over it. It charges the iPad and iPods very quickly. Great purchase! Very happy!
