The cord started to fray after a year. I wish apple would make sturdier cords.

This cable replaced one that was simply worn out. It was readily available at my store and was a perfect replacement.

not sure why apple doesn't give you a longer charging cable but i saw this and had some certificates to use and decided to purchase this.

The extra length allows for plenty of movement. The cable works great just as good as the original cable included with the phone.

Apple designs and engineers its products for the best customer experience. Best Buy continues that experience when purchasing from them.

If you want a longer cord rather than the original charger given with the iPhone, I chose to buy the 6’ one.

I have only one issue with the Apple cords, and it’s that they Frey very easily. I’ve had to buy several over the years and sometimes one every few months. The one that comes with your product should also automatically be 6 feet long.
