    Despite the jokes that the Apple charging cables don't last long, I've overall had a better experience with Apple charging cords than the 3rd party charging cords bought at a dollar store, Five Below or at the gas station. 6.6' seems to be the correct length for at home use. I wouldn't use something so long for the car.

    Apple 6’ cable always comes in handy, especially when traveling and you need that extra length. They’re always dependable. Luckily I had a $5 reward to make that price a little more comfortable.

    I like having a longer cord when I need it. These seem to work fine and last as long as any others. They don't last forever though, but I do give them a lot of wear and tear.
