So far, the item is working as expected. We needed a new charging cable when my son accidentally broke his old one. It charges fairly quickly which is very helpful. The item came in the mail the next day as my son needed for his IPad in school.

I have tried all brands, not to cheap out on this item but because I like the longest ones (3 meters) and believe me, every single one of them ends up at some point (before it`s even half a year old) not working or not being compatible with "your device". So having said that, the Apple brand cables seem to be the only ones that will always work.

I've needed a longer charging cable for my Apple devices for a long time. I've purchased many "Apple Certified" cables else where but they never seem to work for my iPads or iPods (I always get the message that it's not an Apple cable and might not work properly). Those cables wouldn't allow me to charge, let alone sync. I consider Apple accessories to be pricey, but it's worth the price when it works.

This cable is pretty long. It was more than what I needed to charge my iPhone 7 Plus. The price was kind of high for what I wanted to pay for, but that’s Apple for you.

Charger works great. Quality is awesome. Seems to hold up well so far.
