I needed a 6 foot charging cable with USB and Lighting connectors on each end. As most products provided by Apple it is very well constructed. One of the problems with longer cables is they are not usually made with adequate wire size to use with Phones, iPads, iPods and ocassionally a LapTop. This Cable is built with appropriate parts so you can anticipate using for a reasonable amount of time.

I purchased this Apple 2 meter cord (over 6 feet) for my bedroom. It is longer than the 1 meter cord that comes with the Apple phone or iPad. I use this cord to plug into a power strip under my night stand and run it up from behind and have plenty of cord to plug the phone into. The 1 meter cord was short to accomplish what I needed. This is an Apple product, so I'm comfortable knowing that this cord is good for my phone!

I don't know what it is about the lightning cables made by Apple, as I am not an engineer or anything like that, but they are better. My son used another cable to charge his iPhone for a while and the phone began acting a bit crazy. I wasn't going to risk that again, so I went with the Apple branded cables to replace old charger cables, and they work wonderfully they are 6.6' long and only a few more dollars for the added length. We are pretty happy with these cables.

Love the long cord really helps out when you need to charge your phone as you use it really makes things easier and very good quality and great for the kids also who always take it from me to use cause they always forget to charge there phones

I use this USB cable when charging my phone. The phone charges quickly, and the cable functions as designed. I store my cables in drawers to protect them from potential damage (e.g., cats chewing on cables). Apple makes a good product, and there are generic cables that are just as serviceable. Overall, I'm pleased.

Length is amazing, very durable and charges fast!!!

I had bought so many other ones from Walmart and others stores and they kept breaking and it was getting on my nerves. Ever since I bought this USB from Bear buy, it worked real nicely for me. I’ve had it for about 3 months now with no problem and it charges real quickly too. It great quality compared to the rest of those knock offs out there.

Love all the official Apple cables. They are the only ones I can always count on, even though they are usually more expensive. The length is long, but perfect when in bed and need that extended length connection to the wall. Keep in mind this is a lightening connection and not USBc for newer iPads, etc.

I love apples longer 6.6' usb to lightning charging cable. They seem to last longer then the smaller ones. I dont' know if that is just me or if anyone else experiences that. Apple Cables tend to break easily but these longer ones last a lot longer. I still have all my 6.6' and all of them are still looking new. I have a whole lot of smaller cables that are all broken.

I prefer a longer cord so I can lounge in bed and not be limited by my cord. But obviously, the cheaper ones tend to fail so fast. This felt like a bigger cost than I’m used to for a cord, but I had to see if it would last longer. So far, so good. Even when I drop my phone up the head of my bed and have to pull it out by the cord.

Needed a longer cord and decided to go with the Apple brand cord. It has last for over 6 months at this point, which, if you know the lasting ability of apple cords, is pretty good.

I highly recommend this for when you’re laying in bed or on the couch and need to charge your phone and use it at the same time. I can not tell you how many times with the smaller cable I’ve pulled it and knocked things over such as a drink. I leave it in my bedroom and it is still in good condition. I know that sometimes these cables can start to break but if you do not travel with it often it will stay in good shape.

I always buy this cord because of the length. Apple is the only cords I will buy. These last!!

Great product. Has the perfect length and high quality. Seems to be more durable than off brands but you pay extra for it.

I purchased the cord to have enough length to reach the back seat or a cashier. It’s the perfect length. It’s great and no issues or concerns with charging in my car. When at home I can plug it in to the wall and reach my favorite seat. Apple always works best for me.

This is the best charger for my iPhone. I purchased different brands and they either aren't compatible or they stop working after a few weeks. This is the best bet to guarantee your phone charges correctly. Don't go cheap on the imitation generic chargers. I love the extra length. I can plug it in behind my bed and it easily reaches around my bed to where I lay comfortably. For only an extra $10 more than the basic charger, it's totally worth it and I recommed it to everyone.

Quality power cord for my iPad. I have used other cords over the years & the cords never last as long ad the Apple cords. Will always use Apple cords on Apple equipment in the future. Apple products always ask buyers to use their cords. Experience has taught me to follow their instructions for better product experience.

After losing the lighting cable that was included in the box with my iPhone, I was tempted to buy a cheap $10 or $15 knock off like I usually do. I have tried countless lightning cables, only to have the tip break off in days or months, and I am not hard on my charging cables. Now, I’m not saying this charger is without flaws, as many I know—myself included—have had issues with the cord fraying or getting bent out of shape on the Apple Brand cables. The one thing I do like about some of the third party cables vs the Apple brand is the reinforced casing, whether it be fabric or just thicker, but I’d prefer a more sturdy connector that lasts. I’ve never experienced one of the Apple brand tips breaking or breaking off into my phone. I’ve had this one for a few weeks (thought not very long) and so far, so good! I also love how this particular model is about twice as long as the one you get with your phone. Money well spent!
