    The end where you plug this into your device always wear out to easily. Be very careful and protect that end. don't pick up the device and bend the cord or it will stop working. The kids go through these cords like candy. Must be a money maker for Apple.

    Bought this to I'd have an true Apple cable for my car - I was having trouble with the third party one I'd been using to interface with the car radio. It works - solved my problem - I just wish apple cables had a longer expected lifespan...

    I was stuck purchasing Apple usb cables for my charger since I couldn't find a generic brand that would fit in my Life Proof phone case charger slot. All 3 cables (office/car/home) that I bought have frayed and have exposed wires at the one year mark.
