Unfortunately, it frayed at the connecting end after about a year, and had to be replaced.

It works just like the original, but I gave it 3 stars since the original product and this one lack an indicator which lets you know when the product is fully charged.

Love the length, hate that they don't last!

I could return them for a refund/replace to Apple but it's just not worth the time. The cord sits on my desk during the day with my phone plugged in and stays there. I don't travel with it, or doing anything ruff. Just pick up my phone while plugged in. It only lasts about 4 months on average before the connection next to the phone starts to be intermittent. Then you have to wiggle it around to keep it charging the phone. Not very impressed at the durability of the cable at all. I expect better from Apple.

Short life span

Was not used daily but several times weekly. Usefulness, therefore, was limited. Apple needs to a better job on the durability of the cords.
