It’s served the purpose of a longer charge but quality near the ends is not good. It is my 4th I purchase in a year because the cord keeps ripping

Bought these original chargers but one them did not last long. Was hoping for itnto last longer since they are apple products but was wrong afterall.

Had to buy this cord, to be able to charge my phone next to my bed... I had purchased a better quality but not apple and it would not work with my phone...I guess apple does not want you going out of they line

It’s unfortunate for consumers that these chargers are so fragile. For the price I hope for better quality.

This was a replacement for the one that came with the ipad pro. That one broke and Apple stores never seemed to carry them. Frankly I have found better options. Wish BB would pick up the Paracableine.

Just buy Apple cables for Apple devices. You can't go wrong. Most others aren't built to specification. Always check to make sure any independent maker's cables are Apple certified. Anker is the only other brand I trust. But for my daughter? I can't go wrong with Apple cables for their devices. Period.

save yourself a few bucks and get the Insignia branded items, they work just as well and hold up just as well. no reason to stick with the brand-name here.

I love Apple products but I wish they would work on making a cord that doesn’t break in 3 months or less with average use. Otherwise, it works well.

I would rate higher if my prior Apple cables didn’t shred the plastic and expose the wiring by the block which creates an electrical/fire hazard. Apple just needs to make their cables more safe and in various lengths to meet customers needs. I would recommend to friends or other consumers with information on my experiences I’ve received on all my cables so far. As far as Best Buy ratings I’d give them 5+ stars as I’ve always received superior customer service on my visits to their closest store.

I've been using off brand cheap and high priced cables for my iPads for years, but recently started having issues with one of them charging. Tried several cables and bricks, none were working. Took the iPad to a repair facility and they plugged in a real apple cable and, voila, it started to charge.

Cable worked great for a while and then this one and the other normal length one I bought at the same time stopped working about 5 months after getting them. Both were bought from Best Buy and didn't appear to be fakes. The good news is that I took them to the Apple store and received free replacements. It's annoying, however, that Best Buy wouldn't do anything about the cables and somehow sold us 2 defective ones.

I have had to buy so many lightning chargers, and hate to have to pay full price for something that doesn't last. Wish these were made to be more sturdy.

The complaint is that these charger cords don’t last for more than a few months. They’re not cheap, especially when you’re replacing them every 3-4 months.

This is My second lightning cord I go thru.I have also used generics and the life on those is a little less than the Apple brand.I wish it was just a little more economical since it will be replaced so much .

I ended up using one of those animals that helps with the cord breaking. Didn’t take long for it to start breaking where you plug it into your phone.

I love the length BUT we all know these chargers don’t really last because they always end up getting ripped.

Apples cords have the worst durability. They always split near the plug. Low life span, and not wanting to run the risk of damage from third party chords, I keep buying them.

Great buy. It is good to be able to move around while charging the phone.

THese cords are always sooo expensive and they never seem to last more than a few months..
