I can't use any other brand but apple on my iPod and iPhone 5 for some reason, because of that I can't give a proper comparison but it is longer and I'm thankful apple realized they needed to make a longer cord.

The iphone chargers are known for breaking way too easily. While the charger works very well, this does not last for more than a few months as the charger will then break.

Not the first replacement cord I have purchased and certainly won't be the last. They don't seem to last. I don't know if my family is just particularly hard on them or what.

Ok chords - but Apple branded ones seem to have a very limited life. It’s a great chord so far but I’ll see how it is over a few months.

This was the purchase of a common Lightning cable. Of course it is okay brand new, but these things wear out very rapidly. Apple knows this. This is not Best Buy’s fault.

Sometimes a long charging cord is necessary but I find this one too long and it twisted up in spots. Also wire frayed and didn't work after a while

Cord is standard cord, length as described. I doubt that this will last any longer than the prior ones. The cable covering comes apart where it attaches to the phone.

This replacement charging cord performs as expected. Unfortunately original should not have to be replaced related to normal use and Apple price too high. No choice.

Disappointed it is already having trouble with it in just a couple of month. It keeps charging if and stopping. I buy Apple becaus Apple recommends it but not at all happy.

Fair price, but frustrated by how quickly the Apple charging chords wear out—expect better quality from Apple (should last at least a year, or replace for free or at a discount).

its okay its starting to give up on me but its good if you need a longer cable, i heard you can go to apple store and they will give you a new one

Not too happy with the Apple phone charging cords. They never seem to last more than 6 months.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I purchased this phone charger on December 17, 2020, so I can have a longer one. It's March 23, 2021 and it's already broken. Obviously need it to charge my Apple devices but wish Apple would make something sturdier as we’re often replacing. Appreciate option to buy this longer cord.

Apple products are ok. I always seem to have issues with these charges lasting. The wire casing splits at the plug and I am always replacing after only having it a year or less.

This is the second time I had to purchase cord. For some unknown reason they keep coming apart and won’t charge. This time I played it safe and bought 2 at once.

Most of the time I buy it, it works well. But a few times, it is defective straight out of the box. They need to improve the quality and longevity off their accessories.

Nothing wrong with the charger but I found the same thing for half the price....way overpriced and would not recommend purchasing one here.

This is a cheap 5.00 cord that stops working after a couple of months. The cable is defective. Just buy from apple. Takes a long time to charge.
