Not Built for Longevity

If you use a non-Apple product to charge your phone, you run the risk of damage to your phone. Yet the (expensive) cords they sell for charging phones don't last very long at all. I'm quite tired of buying these as often as I have to. This has nothing to do with Best Buy. Best Buy is fine--my unhappiness is with the Apple product itself. Planned obsolescence. Welcome to capitalist America.

Basic cord

Ok but not long lasting

Super long

Quality material not that great

Stopped working within 3 months

I’ve had it for only 2.5 months so there’s not much wear and tear on it. There are absolutely no frayed wires and no breaks in the cord. I’m not looking forward to going all the way to an Apple store to get this replaced, but there’s no way I’m paying another $30 for an inferior charger
