This is a standard replacement cord to charge an ipad. The length, however, is much longer than the original and more than I need. Save money and purchase a shorter cord.

Is it worth it to spend premium on this OEM product? I'd say NO. The reason: As costly as this is, the cable is poorly constructed. It is prone to twisting and tangling and there in lies the problem. Constant untangling of this cable will result in kinks, tears and breaks. The cable that came with my Iphone suffered this fate. Thinking it was just a cheap cable that came with the product, I sprung for the Apple cable . It suffered the same fate for the same reason. Mine lasted about a month because I kept it in my car and it couldn't handle high use abuse. My recommendation: Buy a quality BRAIDED cable that is tangle proof and made of stronger material. It will cost about the same as this and will last much longer.

Worked in the begining and after a few months of use it stopped working not sure why.

It's a certified cable and I wouldn't recommend cheap ones. Go find a brand names anker cables and you can get better for cheaper.

Frayed after 5 months. Even though Best Buy states on their website that apple gives you a year warranty they lie. They tell you apple won’t let you have a replacement because apple won’t let them do that without charging you $$. When you go to apple they say you bought it at Best Buy so you have to pay $25 for a replacement. Seems like false advertising to me.

Not much to about a charging cable. It's one of two parts that you have to buy separately in order to charge your phone.

Falling apart! Not strong enough. The size is long and I like it. Otherwise not durable. Need another replacement

This charger only lasted for about 4 weeks. At the price Apple is asking for the charger it should have lasted longer

We’ve noticed the Apple cords we’ve been getting with the phones or certified ones we’ve been purchasing don’t seem to last as well as they used too and we start getting the failed accessory message or incompatible accessory messsges. This has happened with this cord and a few others. We bought three longer amazon basics and they have outlasted the certified Apple cords. We were quite suprised and for the value we will go with them from now on.

This charger is a great length however I do wish the cord itself was stronger. It always ends up ripping near the plug that goes into the phone base.

The cable works well, the only issue is the cable breaks apart over time by the port.

Loved it in the beginning but after a month or so the plastic at the phone end started to break. I expected more from an Apple product.

Giving 3 stars because it does what it needs but not very durable, seems like I am replacing every 6-12 months if they last that long.

Length cable but did stop working after two weeks after purchase.

It makes charging my iPhone 8S or iPad Mini4 that much easier from a more reasonable distance.

Good cable but with typical apple products it seems it will only last me 1 year befor it falls apart.

Constantly having to replace these. I wish Apple would make them stronger. Lucky Best Buy carries these.

Good qulaity but high price as all apple products. (You pay extra for less).

It will charge my iPhone but it will not charge my iPad at all which is what I bought it for. I wouldn’t recommend it for an iPad.
