I haven’t had a chance to return it. I threw the box and receipt away thinking it would work with no problems. I even tried to “flip” the cord and still stopped working. A real piece of junk

Frustrating

Had 3 of these chargers for about 9 months and the tip broke off on two of them. Prior to it actually breaking, half the time it wouldn't charge properly.

This has always been my experience with Apple cables (since 2006). I finally purchased a cheaper cable to replace this one and it still works just fine.
