I paid the price for this because after using non-Apple chargers, my phone or tablet would start to reject it,even though the packaging said they would work with my equipment. However, this Apple charger is working just fine. No problems at all. I love the extra long length. It looks like this model has an extra piece of plastic or rubber near the very ends to keep it from fraying & separating, which was the problem with previous Apple cables. Hoping this lasts a long time, it was expensive!

The generic cord was not charging my I-pad so I took both parts to BestBuy. The blue shirt sent me to the Geek Squad to check them before I spent too much money on replacement parts. I only needed the cord. Product works as it should with my I-Pad. Thank you blue shirt for saving me money.

This is the 2rd replacement cable an iPad Air 2... First one lasted about 2 months, it was an off brand and it turned purple and got hot near the Apple connector end. I chose the longer Apple unit and it is still in great shape. This length seems to be perfect for doing most things.

If you are one of those that forgets to charge your phone and you want to be on it at night this is a great cable to have. I am able to play on my phone without having to be huddled by the edge of my bed because the cable is too short.

I bought this a few weeks back and the length of the cord was convenient for me since I like to charge my phone while feeling lazy and laying on my bed. I would purchase this item again since my puppy chewed up my phone charger .

We needed a cord that would fit the outlet behind our bed to our night stands and still have some wiggle room for us to look at our phones. The cord that comes with the device is too short, but this one is just right. Also the charge seems to last longer than non apple devices.

It's a cable, so it's hard to come up with a substantial narrative about it. That being said, the length is much easier to deal with on a nightstand or in a car. The package is fully recyclable, which is great. They will wear out in time, so replacement is expected over time.

Apple charging cable seems to be thicker which means that it will not easily fray. I am looking forward to it lasting longer than the initial cables that were created and sold in the past.

Great product, longer cord is nice but very pricey for this Apple product that I must use with my IPhone

I have tried the cables from other companies but they just don’t hold up well. The Apple cables are the best. But don’t yank on the cable when removing them from your devices. Always pull on the end of the connector.

Cable is pricey but works well. Glad I went with a 6.6' cable versus Apple's 3.3' cable. The extra length is very useful when I travel as many hotels have outlets in inconvenient locations.

This cable is nearly double the length of the stock charger cable. It allows the use of outlets that aren’t otherwise close enough to a tabletop or counter, making charging a phone or tablet that’s a little more convenient.

Buying this 5 ft charger was a great idea now we don’t struggle to charge our phones and have to go and check on the battery life. I can charge my phone and still use it in bed on the couch kids can use phone in the back seat and still charging. Best Buy ever

When it comes to buying iPhone accessories, I only buy the original ones as they have held up better than most of the knock off cables. it may cost a little more to begin with, but it is worth it in the end as you won't have to buy nearly as many replacement cables.
