Spend the money to get the 6.6' cable. If you don't you'll wish you would have. It's nice to have the extra length on this cable. I wish Apple would design these better so they don't start to short out on the ends.

You definitely needs longer cord than the one that comes with the iPhone. You should buy the Apple brand to guarantee the the plug will work with whatever phone case you have(not always the case with Dollar Store cables....)

Cost Is higher but the quality is higher. The Apple Cords have always been worth buying over cheap ones. They work for a much longer time than the cheaper ones. Unless they are for your teenagers then buy the cheap ones

Many times I have purchased those cheap chargers and my phones always messed up. Spending 30 bucks on a phone charger is way better than needing to buy a new phone. Those other chargers use too many volts and messes up the battery.

I needed a second cable and dashed to my nearest Best Buy to pick one up minutes before the store closed. I wasn't sure of the length needed, but I am very glad I got this one. It's perfect for charging bedside at night. I use the much shorter cable that came with my iPhone in the car for charging on the go. I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the price tag that comes with Apple branded products and accessories. Such is the burden of living an iLife.

I really wanted a charger cord that I could plug in next to my bed and still be able to use my phone. This cord is the perfect length and reaches almost all the way across my bed. I also love that it charges my phone way faster then any non apple charger.

Needed for an upcoming cross country roadtrip and finding Apple accessories are the best quality

This is perfect for my new set up which required me to have a longer cable to use my phone comfortably while I had it charging. If you don’t need the extra length, this is too long for you and you’re better off with the regular size.

I'm an Apple snob, and I tend to only buy Apple-branded accessories for all of my products. This cable has not disappointed, and I love its length! I got this for a steal at $18.99, but would love it just the same as if I had paid full price!

This is absolutely the best cable for Apple phones. Other brands tend to fray easily and just do not hold up. Better to pay a little extra and get the cable that will last long-term. In my opinion, it's the only way to go - money well spent.

Bought a new cord to charge my IPhone. I tried off brands (non apple cables) but they would not last a month so I am back to the original manufactures aftermarket product which is more costly but in the long run I figure I am saving money by not having to buy it over & over again.

This cable is just what I needed to be able to charge my phone while sitting on my couch.

Sitting in my Eckornes Stressless chair, feet up, and charge at the same time. The cord reaches to the wall plug with ease. I originally wanted a "standard" cord to use in the car, but local BB was sold out. So this was at first a compromise, but now I'm really glad I have it.

I have wasted lots of money on generic charging cables. The Apple cable is the cream of the crop and I will never purchase a generic cable again. Apple makes a very durable and sturdy product.

Nothing new here. Just a good quality 6-foot Lighting cable, to replace the one in the car that split open at the Lighting connector-end, due to normal wear. Could I have bought a cheaper cable? Absolutely!

Cord works as designed. Length works well when using iPad while charging.
