I've purchased other brands of cables and almost always end up yelling at myself for trying to save a few bucks. Apple is a smart company and their products don't always work well with other company's cables. Purchasing their branded items means my Apple products work.

It's a lightning to USB cable - it works and the extra length is what I need in my office I don't know if Apple is worth it but I am hoping it lasts longer than some of the generic cables I've had - I won't know for a few years

This is a good replacement for your iphone and is long enough to reach the backseat.

Always felt the standard cable you get with the ipad was way too short but this gave me the length I was looking for. Now I don't feel like i'm tethered to the outlet during long periods of time while I'm using my ipad.

Perfect length for charging iPad, iPhone and iPod. This is longer than the cord in the original product package so it allows more space to use device while charging, Perfect for car charging as it reaches the second row seats with no problem

The 6 feet is great because when your phone is low you can charge it and still be on the couch relaxed while phone is still charging. I need to get a few more because my kids keep taking it from me.

This cable is over 6 feet long and my dad wanted to have it in order to be able to use his ipad and charge it at the same time. It works perfectly and is just the right size. Best Buy had a good sale on the cable and it is a great value.

We only buy Apple chargers because the cheaper ones will inevitably break or won't charge (the iPhone somehow detects that it's not a "real" Apple charger). Some college dorms won't allow extension cords, so having a six foot cable is handy.

I hate the small charging cables that come in the Apple box when you purchase a new phone since they’re usually not long enough to reach my desk but when I saw that they had the 2m cable it was a lifesaver!

Truly a life saver. Someone took my other cord at work and I needed a replacement. I was able to get this one the same day I ordered it. It works great and charges rather quickly too.

In my work office I have used up most of my wall plugs. I need to keep on open one to charge my I-Phone, but the distance was just a little to short for the normal cable shipped. This was just perfect for a little extra length, without needing an extension USB cable.

The Cable is the Best length available at 6'. The 3' cables can't be positioned well on my desk and reach an Outlet Receptacle, whereas this 6' Cable is much more versatile for placement that's the right Location for me to access quickly.

I love the extended length of the Apple charger. It gets bed me so much more flexibility to lay comfortably and use my phone while it's charging. I was glad to have rewards to apply so that saved me $5, plus it was on sale. Gotta love Best Buy!

This chord is great, especially when traveling as hotels tend to hide electric outlets behind things and also tend to not have free outlets next to bed. Having this longer chord makes it possible to have phone next to you while charging no matter where you are!

I waited a long, long time for a salesman who wasn't busy doing their job helping people. I was first in line but...wow...it took a long time. One guy told me where to go look but I told him I would wait because I need assistance to ensure I get the right fit. When it was my turn, he picked out the right one, listened to the size I wanted and directed me to the cashier. Thank you for explaining the differences and the reason for the cost differences also. Good sales personnel. They know what they are talking about. (You may adjust verbiage, add, delete or change) I totally trust you. You are my go-to electronic place.

I like this charging cable more than others for 3 reasons. 1. It is 2 meters long instead of 1 meter, this often is handier. 2. It is more durable than others which means it holds up better. 3. Apple makes it, so it fits better and is less expensive than some others.

I wanted to get a cord longer then the 3 meter cords. Went with the actual apple product as I have had issues with batteries in the past. For the few extra dollars I paid it seems to hold it's charge better than some of the knock off brands.

Having a longer cord makes my life so much easier. It’s the simple things. I no longer have to worry about my phone dropping on the floor because of my short cord.

These cables they can tear but they hardly loose contact.. other cables might not tear but they lose contact with time with no apparent reason, This Apple cable doesn’t. I have some cables with tears on their tip but they still work.
