This six-foot lightning cable was purchased separately along with an Apple 5w wall charger. The previously owned iPhone 7 plus that I purchased came with a non-Apple cable and wall charger combo that did not work consistently, mainly not recognizing the insertion of the cable into the phone. I researched this and concluded that Apple manufactured accessories are made strictly to specifications of Apple products and so I purchased genuine Apple products. The new Apple lightning cable and Apple wall charger worked perfectly, validating my research and conclusion. Though more expensive than non-Apple competing products I think in the long run I can depend on a trouble-free and long service life of the iPhone, charger, and cable.

I buy the original apple cords because most generics don't work or damage your product. The cost is higher but it is better to pay for it up front instead of the long run, where it cost more money. The extra length is great. the original cords are just to short.

Great charger. Bought it over a year ago. It still works perfectly! It's kind of pricey but rather than buying cheap brand every other months, it was worth to buy this one.

It is always a great thing to have a longer cord available for your iPhone because sometimes 3' won't cut it. This extra long cord is just what is needed and since it is an Apple cord, it is a better fit than the off-brand cords.

I have found apple cables to be the best for my iPad. This 6.6” cable is the perfect length to reach from outlets to anywhere I’m sitting. Ten ft cables are a waste and just curl up, bend and fail.

I am very pleased with this cable. It is nice and long, it allows enough length to be able to use my iPhone or my iPad while it is charging. A little on the pricey side but worth it for convenience.

Almost for the Apple iPhone6 foot cable gives you more access for charging use while at a desk or even lying in bed reading your email good quality last a while just put a spring on and stop bending by plugging

I bought it by mistake, I wanted the “common” charging cable but for my surprise it was a long charging cable which was just perfect due to my ports where quite far away! Also they look really solid! Go for it!

I like having the security of having real Apple products from Best Buy to use with my Apple iPhone/computer. The service rep helped me find just what I needed. - I am not proficient in computer 'fixing' and when presented with a fully functional piece of equipment - using it is wonderful. Technology is wonderful when it works! Thanks for making mine work!

This cable cord is plenty long which I like. No more yanking the cable from the port because of such a short cable. Just what I needed. Fits my Ipad (6th generation).

I am an Apple lover through & through! However while the idea behind The Lightening Cable seems or looks nice, it is an expensive power cord when you're having to buy a new 1 every 6mos!...And, NO I am not rough on my device or cord! I am disabled in fact Use my iPad in the same position all of the time, am not pulling on the cord nor do I drop my device. I am actually very caucious of how I hod my ipad to make sure I am not bending it near the tip which is wear they ALL seem to degrade very quickly w/the most careful use! Ive even paid more for the longer cord & bought 3rd party cords that are supposedly more hardy. Sadly, none of them were! Thankfully I am getting ready to buy a new iPad Pro as we speak & I cant even express how totally THRILLED I am that it has a USB3 port charging cable!! Much more hardier!! C'mon Apple! You have a life long dedicate Apple user, just like millions of others & we all know your products are NOT cheap!! At the very least I'd expect to NOT have to have continual issues w/a part that should be made to move around with light, careful, normal usage!! In fact, you should offer some sort of free to low cost exchange program for those of us that have bag fulls of your Lightening cables that no longer work!!

We bought two of this item to replace the original cables on two Apple devices. The new cables feel solid and of good quality; the 6'6" length is great for home and car use. We would recommend replacing your shorter cables with these.

Perfect ... needed the xl length... For some reason my iPhone was not liking the 3Rd party one I had This one is working with no problems... the only thing is the price was a bit expensive..

I had reached a point where I lost confidence in the cheaper charging cables out there. What I could say about the mall was those thinking I was getting a really good buy, they all turned out to be unreliable. I figured enough is enough, concluding that this time around I'm going with a comfort level, and so I did, buy in the Apple brand. It works fine. With the additional length, I am not compelled to disconnect it from the phone to give me more user flexibility and finally fue to tha additional length and most importantly, I've got the confidence level this time around, going the Apple and Best Buy you're, that this charging cable will continue to work.

Great cable for the reason I needed it. I was hospitalized and need a long cord to reach my bedside. The quality of the cable itself seemed to be above average

I bought this to charge my phone in my bedroom. So much better than the factory cord length! I only buy Apple cords after issues with other brands. Only negative is price could be lower.

I always use Apple accessories for our iPhones and iPad. They are of excellent quality. Off brands tend not to be as good as these. I would recommend using Apple accessories.
