    I purchased this cord to charge an older iPad Air2. This cord is a thicker version. I was having difficulties charging this iPad with thinner cords. I also like the length. My son can use his iPad while charging on long car trips.

    I'm not constantly pulling the charger off to use the phone because it's to short. The long cable makes it easy to use while it still charges.

    Generic cords just aren’t the same! Apple certified is worth the extra money. Unless I loose it, pretty much lasts forever!
