The Right Product

Having the right product, specifically made by the/an original manufacturer, is worth the few extra dollars. I have had friends with other manufacturer's products (non-original/OEM) and their cables get warm. That brings to mind materials quality questions. The bottom line - OEM parts are specific to the products we buy, and Apple parts are the right products for our expensive iPhones and iPads.
