Had to buy a new iPhone cord

It’s been acting very sluggish and then just died the other day. It’s not that old. I bought the cord to see if it would get my phone charged. After a day, I finally got it working. By the way, I had to buy a 6 foot cord because the 3 foot wasn’t available. Product is too expensive. Phone is still not working well. Next purchase, a new battery? iPhone shouldn’t be going bad so soon.
