I can to Best buy looking for a cable and the sales agent showed me this original but longer one and I had to buy it! I love it, it's perfect. The original is on the short side and I didn't like that.

What Apple should have supplied

It works and it is an Apple product. It was the only thing I needed to avoid putting my iPad on the floor to charge at night. Now I can charge it and set it on the night table. I am going to get another for my iPhone.
