    This replaced a Non Apple one purchased after the real Apple one was stolen. The Non Apple one proved to be highly defective! Am so Happy BEST BUY FINALLY SELLS APPLE PRODUCTS OF ALL KINDS!!!!! BEST BUY IS MUCH CLOSER THAN APPLE STORE AND NO WAIT FOR IT IF ORDERED FROM APPLE DUE TO SHIPPING AND SAVINGS ON SHIPPING COSTS TOO!

    Upside: This Lightning-connector-to-U.S.B.-connector is a nicely long two-meter length. Anything shorter has limited practicality. Downside: The cord-to-Lightning-connector frays easily. I know this fact because this adaptor is the second such adaptor that I have had to buy. There needs to be a better strain-relief transition from the cord-to-Lightning-connector.

    I use a lot of Apple products and wanted to get an apple replacement for my fraying charging cable. If you own an Apple product, this is exactly as they come from the company. For me, the extra cost is worth not having to replace it every few months.
