Good cable - overpriced

However, Apple could improve the design and make it stronger. Also, the cost is still outrageous. Second time buying this cable after normal wear and tear rendered the previous unusable

Twice the goodness of the shorter cable

The excellent quality remains the same for the short or long version of the respective cables.

This one definitely carries current. Haven't checked to see if it carries data, but that's not why I bought it.

USB charger

Long Length

I was quite surprised when I received my cable and discovered that it is heavier than the cable that came with my ipad. I wish the original one provided with the ipad was as sturdy as this one.
