I've bought the cheaper knockoffs only to get aggravated again when they only last a month. This is the genuine article, works great and absolutely no static or "incompatible" error messages. I highly recommend this cord - stop wasting money on cheap imitations.

Great charger for length but this charger is prone to damaging.

I purchased this because my other lightening to usb was frayed. They do not seem to last long, or maybe I have a rough hand. This is shorter than my previous purchase, but not by much. Will probably buy another when needed. Works fine.

My first one lasted a little over a yr. Bought a cheaper one but it didn't work. Glad to be back in business.

This item was just a replacement for an old cable that was too short an beat up. Has been working great so far. Always recommend getting original charger cable just so you don't mess your phone's battery up.

This cord works well and is a good length. It's always best to buy Apple products to support iPhones.

Generic products can be great - allergy medicine, noodles, and Grocery store milk come to mind. But nothing beats Apple branded chargers, unless you prefer your iPhone or iPad to take 8 hours for 50% charge.

As it's expected from Apple, good product. I hope it will last longer, then original was. It did break by the end of the cord. Maybe it specific for Apple cord, we do heave the problem almost with cord for every apple product.

It does it's job. seems to work well on both iPhone and iPad.

It's Apple. Always reliable. We moved and lost a lot of our electronics. Hate spending the money but find the quality outlasts the competition so it's a better value.

WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN CHEAPER NON-APPLE CORDS. I NEVER BELIEVED THAT A "GENERIC" POWER CORD WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE BUT MY PHONE CHARGES AND KEEPS A CHARGE MUCH BETTER WITH THE ORIGINAL APPLE PRODUCTS

After buying non-Apple accessories to use with my Apple products has not worked out well for me. Sometimes they would work, sometimes they wouldn't. So when I needed to replace my charging cable, I decided to buy Apple. I haven't had a problem since.

I’ve tried Insignia and others but after a couple months they stop working. You get a message saying “ Not Authorized for this Apple product”. So no choice but to spend this price. Wish Apple made their cords better.

Works great and Apple cable seems to last longer than generic cables.
