Apple cables work as expected but are much more expensive than non-Apple cables for charging Apple devices.

I'm so happy to have this longer charging cable for my iPad. I can sit in my favorite chair while charging, and still use my iPad, too. So far it's worked great. I do think all of these Apple accessories are pricey, but I'm still very happy to have it for the convenience.

yes this item is great. I got it for a present for my son. He just loves the fast down load using this cord.

Generic products can be great - allergy medicine, noodles, and Grocery store milk come to mind. But nothing beats Apple branded chargers, unless you prefer your iPhone or iPad to take 8 hours for 50% charge.

WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN CHEAPER NON-APPLE CORDS. I NEVER BELIEVED THAT A "GENERIC" POWER CORD WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE BUT MY PHONE CHARGES AND KEEPS A CHARGE MUCH BETTER WITH THE ORIGINAL APPLE PRODUCTS

This useful item enabled me to use my Smartphone with my car to display driving directions and locations. So easy and so useful!

I bought this to run appleplay in my car. It's way too long but all they had at the time. It works fine.

I always buy authentic apple replacement products. The off brands don’t seem to be the same quality. In this case the cord fit into the socket works as intended. Knock offs always same they will damage the phone sockect when plugged in

This cord is perfect for my iPhone. The length is just right to be plug in behind my couch.

This cable gives you more flexibility than the cable that comes with most apple devices. It reaches the back seat so my kids can charge their stuff in the car.

I have both an iPad and iPhone 6 and the longer power cord is much better if you're using either of the devices if you're a distance away from a power source. The shorter cord still remains useful for powering up one device while using the longer cord on the other.

Needed cord for my phone. I like the idea of a longer cord, longer than the one that came with the phone.

Useful for using your HyperShop brick battery to charge+power your iPhone while playing iTunes on a 30-mile bicycle trek, or hiking --> while the battery is in your backpack, behind you.

I purchased this because my other lightening to usb was frayed. They do not seem to last long, or maybe I have a rough hand. This is shorter than my previous purchase, but not by much. Will probably buy another when needed. Works fine.

I made a wise choice when I chose to purchase this charging cable for my friend. She loves it. I purchased a cable longer than the original one and she can work at longer distances.

I’ve tried Insignia and others but after a couple months they stop working. You get a message saying “ Not Authorized for this Apple product”. So no choice but to spend this price. Wish Apple made their cords better.
