This is an Apple cable. This is for Apple phones. It is meant to charge. This cable does that. I guess that's really all you'd need to know about it. It is definitely long and that adds convenience without, from what I can tell, sacrificing charging speed. I'm sure there are third-party chargers and cables that might work just as well, but I figured if I was going to sell my kidney for an iPhone, I might as well sell half my liver for a cable.

Needed a longer charging cord that wouldn't fail after 2 months. This one is ideal!

This cord is a great length compared to the default that comes with every phone. For someone who travels frequently you don't always know where the closest outlet will be. The length of this cord allows you to plug into that hidden outlet behind the chair in the corner and still have your phone handy close by to answer calls. It also comes in handy when the only outlet at an airport is surrounded by others. You can still plug in but not leave your phone behind for others to watch. I only wish I had bought it earlier.

Like the long cord. Charges fast. Could use a couple More for around the house!

Would recommend..long enough to have device plugged in while using and very fast charging when needed.

Apple chargers always hold up better than other brands for us. The extra length of the six foot cord always comes in handy.

Great 6.6 foot cable, use this for fast charging ipads and iphones. It is a little too pricey though.

Apple lightning cables by Apple are the only way to go!! The extra long length is a game changer.

My iPad cord wore out, this is a great replacement, I think it charges faster than the cord that came with it and it's longer.

great length from the wall plug-in to my bed. and a little bit more so the cord won't bend when using while plugged in to my iPhone
