We have tried knock off cables, they work for charging but when it comes to reliable data transfer we only go with apple wires, cheap insurance given the price of the equipment and hassle factor if data doesn't transfer

My wife has a custom case on her phone and we could not find a cord that fit without removing her case. The Apple cord is the only one that fit and works well. It just made her life a little bit easier.

If you're an Apple fan boi or just something that works then Yeah don't use your common sense and just buy it. If you still have some intelligence left even though you're using iPhone than try some other cables from companies like Anker. Way better quality, more durable and charge faster. Worth the price unlike this one.

I bought two charging cables so that I don't have to move a single one around. Great idea. This has really made my life easier. I always find what I want at Best Buy.

I've always found Apple's USB charging cables to be more reliable than anything I can grab-and-go at a 7-Eleven or any other convenience store. You get what you pay for I guess.

The cable does what it's supposed to do, albeit on the pricey side. The length is decent, but the ends of the chord are still susceptible to breaking if bent on a continued basis. If you must stick to Apple-branded items then go for it, otherwise there are much cheaper (and stronger) alternatives that do the same thing.

I bought this charger because I only like to use official Apple chargers for my phone, and because I wanted a longer charger. This one was the best of both worlds. I love this charger, and hope that lasts for a while.

I like the length. It sucks that it’s so expensive but you gotta have it, so...

I didn't know that it would be this long but it comes in handy and the cord can get tangled up a bit when trying to put it away after charging an Apple product. In a few years we won't be using these cables anymore and for that I can't wait.

Does exactly what it supposed to do without fault. I only buy the Apple charges

I have bought less expensive charging cables. MISTAKE! Sometimes they would work. Sometimes they would not. The Apple cable works every single time. Buy what you know will work.
