I never trusted third-party companies that made cables this long but when Apple made one, I bought it as soon as possible. You're not limited when you have this extra length.

Just a replacement if it lasts as long as the original well good for me. My original cord failed at the end which connects to my iPad (not the lightning connector - the cover on the cord). The original cord still works but is kind of ugly with electrical tape covering the end where the cover has failed.

Cable charges iPad quickly and is portable so kids can take the cable and use on their chargers without taking your hub would definitely recommend it to famies with several apple products.

I bought this cable to enable to connect a thumb drive to my new Macbook, which is too thin to have USB ports and instead uses the slim lightning ports. The cable did exactly what it was supposed to do.

I bought this cable (Apple) to ensure compatibility. I find the Apple versions wear out quickly and cost much more than other generic brands like Insignia that seem to work fine. Recommended but you can save some cash by buying generic.

I've made the mistake of purchasing non-Apple branded cords, and they almost never work as needed... not so with products sold by Apple. Spend a little more and get something you won't have to return.

It seems as something not important, however, it is smart to buy a lasting cable.

What more can I say. It charges an iPhone. The extra length makes this great to run to that outlet that's always behind the bed or to let you sit on the couch and continue to use your Apple device while it charges.

My old charging cable died. I ordered this one, and it came the very next day. It works great and is longer than the original one that came with my iPad. Double win.
