I've tried knock off version's and they don't work as well as the original Apple accessories. I would only recommend genuine Apple accessories.

I would only consider buying Apple brand chargers based on the fact that many secondary brands eventually stop charging the iPhone.

Great replacement! This is a replacement for the previous cord that began to come apart. Best to air on the side of caution! The longer length is very beneficial, especially if you are wanting to use it while it charges!

For some reason the original that came with the MacBook stoped working, needed a quick replacement. This works perfectly up to date.

I bought this cord because I needed a new one, but I love the fact that I can charge it and use it within 6 feet. I wouldn't go back to 2-3 foot cord.

Love the longer length. Works great. My company only allows us to us original Apple cables for charging due to hazards with non Apple calbels.

This is the best cable they sell. 1m is way too short to be useful and 10' is never stable. 2m seems just right. I have at least 4 of these and never an issue.
