We purchased 6.6 ft Apple lightning cable because the last one was eaten by the dog (no, really!!). The cable was too short at 3.3 ft and kept getting pulled out when moving. I wanted to replace it but figured I do that when it ripped/broke. Well, once the dog destroyed the short cable we purchased the longer cable. Now we have more leeway to move the iPad around and keep it away from the animal or tripping over it. It charges the iPad and iPods very quickly. Great purchase! Very happy!

Nothing better than a long cord for your iPhone. It’s the perfect length. I use it in my car so if someone is sitting in the back, they can easily charge their phone while still having the length to speak on it. Unfortunately this item has to be replaced fairly regularly, and in my opinion, they should have a replacement policy but I clearly don’t make those decisions.

I always buy apple lightning chargers as opposed to off brands. While they tend to fray around the connector after a while of use, they will continue to work. That’s the only hang up and why I didn’t give 5 stars.

Great long cord. I have had this cord for a long time now and have had no problems with it.

My old cord was fraying. This cord is about 3 times as long and works fast to recharge my I pad mini.

Services it’s purpose. Longer cord is great.charges phone quickly.

I guess you get what you pay for. I've got dozens of the "generic" lightning USB cables lying around my home - that don't work. I got "dooped" into buying these cheap replacements, but alas - they've all failed after a month or maybe two at the most of regular, daily use. This cable is APPLE brand and without a doubt is much better. It just feels a lot stronger and sturdier than others. I'll let you know if it fails - so far, so good.

Having had Apple products since 2010, I was used to the short cords for recharging my devices. While researching accessories prior to purchasing my new iPad Pro 12.9, I saw the 6’ cord. It is one of those moments when you hit your forehead thinking “why didn’t I think of this before?” It allows me to use my device without digging out an extension cord from somewhere else. I plan to always keep a longer cord for the ease of use it offers.

Finally a long charger that charges fast!!!!!!!!!!

You can’t beat the original Apple charging cords for quality, although adding slip-over cord supports at the device end helps minimize cord cover fatigue and cracking. This fatigue and cracking problem seems to occur on all lightning cords whether or not they’re Apple or third party supplier. Only wish the price was a bit less is all.
