    This is the second one I've had to buy. As far as charging, it works well. But the plastic covering on the cable breaks and cracks. You would think Apple would use better quality in its products.

    It seems like apple has increased the quality of the cord part since buying a Macbook Pro in 2015. My charger stopped working due to cords busting open at the end, this one doesn't seem to have any of that. Good product.

    Purchased this item to replace a defective charger. These older chargers have a rubber coating on the cords, which seems to fail after a few years use. Fortunately, Apple has a fabric coating on the newest generation of MBPs
