It is a power supply. It works. Not much really can be said. Well, except, as Apple brand, it is a bit costly. There were other lower cost brands, but I didn't want to take the risk of the unknown. So I suppose the Apple name is worth the cost.

I have been 6 years with my Macbook pro and after 6 year this is my first replacement so that means how good are this charger.

It is always better to buy Apple Power Adapter for Mac Book. Alternatives may be cheaper but can interfere with your expensive MacBooks. Best Buy is always the best in products and delivery. Pick up was breezing fast!

A power surge killed my old adaptor and this one replaced it perfectly. It's tough to get to an Apple Store these days, and I couldn't afford to wait days for shipping. Best Buy store pickup saved the day.

Hard to beat the real thing. Typical Apple, looks great, functions properly. Wanted an extra power cord for home so I could leave one at work and not have to carry it back-and-forth.

All of my computer equipment is an Apple product. I love Apple. So when I needed to replace power adapter I naturally replaced it with an original Apple power adapter. However the price of the adapter is a bit expensive.

I've tried knock off chargers on my Apple and it caused battery issues. I decided to purchase the Apple version and the computer is back to no battery charging problems. I don't like how the cord frays when wrapped around itself (which is why I had to buy the replacement), but what option do I have? Too pricey, but it is Apple and to be expected.

I was forced into buying apple brand because it’s apparently the only power adapter that won’t melt when used with a Mac book. Apple wouldn’t replace if for free, so I bought a highly rated knock off from amazon which melted after four months. This cord so far is fine.

My original adapter had seen better days, and the Missoula Best Buy had a replacement in stock, and it looks better, works better, and my laptop is back in business!

As with all Apple products, it's great but pricey at $80. You can get aftermarket clones for half that. I bought it because I needed it right away. Love Best Buy for being right here, right now.
