I liked my old unit and it is still works for my general uses, but not the one app I primarily needed it for. The new one still takes a while to start like my old one. WiFi is a bit faster and stronger in picking up signals. There are still some features that I thought the new one would have, but it doesn't have, so I gave it an average review. I would have thought that by now Apple would have designed an additional memory storage slot, but they did not. That was another thing that I felt it needed. My older android smart phone actually does better. But I was 'forced' to get the newer model Mini, which was planned obsolesce by Apple.

ipad mini 2019

Purchased for our elementary school student and just typing and everything on it is small. It is better served for an adult with not a ton of typing on the screen. It is more portable.
