I have a larger iPad and the mini. I find myself using the mini ALL of the time. For me, the size is perfect for reading. My larger iPad is mainly used for taking hand written notes these days and watching videos. I use the Mini for everything else. I have a few Samsung tablets too, they collect dust for the most part. Not even in the same league as the iPad.

Good iPad mini update. Solid performing device and good price. Wondering when the next model will come out, as well.

Bought for my 4 year old daughter so she can do schoolwork. She is very Petite and the bigger iPad would be too big for her. Works beautifully and very easy for her to access all the apps and keyboard. Also bought my other kids who are five and seven the regular iPadspetite and the bigger iPad would be too big for her. When u buy apple... Always get the item with the latest processor... Don't fall for older processor models that promise bigger screens or better speakers... The life of a product is directly proportional to get us processor. Shame on u apple for trying to pawn off older models for 50 to 100 less. This product is good ... Latest one... Buyer beware iOS updates take your processor Into account

I recently upgraded to this model from the previous and immediately noticed the performance difference. The display looks great, the apps run smoothly and the inclusion of the apple pencil compatibility is a very welcome addition. The price is hard to swallow at first, but the improved hardware and longevity of Apple products make it worth the money. Definitely recommend if you want great functionality in a small package.

Pros: crisp clear screen and speed. Netflix, YouTube, and whatever app thos thing is fast. Cons: Apple is apple. It is pricey.

I love the size! It fits perfectly in my purse! I also was looking for something where I can use photoshop because it wouldn't work on my old Mac, and it works on my iPad! Also, I have been using it a lot to watch shows during my lunch break and it's a perfect size to travel with. My photos on this iPad looks so clear and nice!! I got the rose gold color iPad and it looks more pink, but it is nice and cute. Over all I am glad I ended up buying it for myself on my birthday.

An upgrade from my other mini iPad. I love the size of the mini because it’s great for traveling and it’s lightweight. I only use it for entertainment but lately it’s been nice for work as well. I purchased an inexpensive third party pencil to see if I would use it and it does come in handy for some things, but it wouldn’t be worth it for me to have gotten the Apple Pencil. The old mini wasn’t compatible with a pencil spit is nice to have this new option with this mini.

My fist iPad mini, which I got in 2012, was great in its day, but was getting really slow and Apple stopped supporting it with software updates, so it was time to get the latest generation. New iPad mini is much faster, has much higher resolution and much better sound than my first one ever had, even when new. Also some other changes I like, like swiping down from the top right corner of screen to access Control Center. Very happy with it - glad Apple brought back the mini - full size iPads are way to big for me to use.

It’s exactly what I needed. Effect size, batter lasts for days, it’s Apple so great quality. It’ll make study time better!
