We would not have replaced it if it didn’t stop uploading and supporting new apps. Having the first generation iPad work for 12 years is a good sign of a quality product. This new iPad should last just as long or even longer.

This iPad mine is outstanding, and a great companion to my iPhone. I use this for drone work, and it has worked flawlessly....I cannot say enough about it.....but this is exactly what I've come to expect from Apple over the years. Outstanding device!

Add to this that at 32 gig it was nearly full and running very slowly and no longer capable of downloading or updating apps. Loving the higher capacity, the faster speed of everything and the fingerprint security.
