I’ve owned large iPads and also minis before. I prefer the mini for reading books, online activities and games. This new one is great. It’s fast, portable and stylish. Perfect for me.

having the same overall design as past generations is the only downside of the 5th generation iPad Mini. Other than than, this thing is great. Size is perfect for carrying around daily. If I’m heading into the office for the day this is the unit I’ll take with me. Snappy, responsive and fast. Definitely wouldn’t use for productivity, but texting is comfortable and even replying (short responses) to emails is a good experience. Screen quality is really nice - I use this a lot for YouTube, etc. Great size and functionality overall.

best iPad so far, was bought for my 1 year old then and two years plus of toddler abuse has not one scratch, great entertainment and educational too

Was either this or the cheaper price one, it was a no brainers this has better screen, newer processor and handles everything well and it's not too big. Spend an extra 100 for a better model

Great size, clear picture, and a fast processor. I love the ability to have a "hand-off" item as an extension for my phone. Helps to keep me organized at work. Very portable.

Perfect size for reading on the go. Battery lasts quite a while if i dont watch videos. Definitely still worth it in 2023

Very friendly interface and so nice to use. For FaceTime, my adult children told me the image was much shaper than using an iPhone. Plus,I love seeing my grandchildren in a larger format, All my content from my phone transferred without a hitch. I love reading! Books, messages and email easily read. There are so nice keyboard features added. To use secondary and tertiary features on each key you hold the key stroke and slide your finger down. I had a slight learning curve for length of time to hold the key but find it cool to use! Adding the case is awesome for holding, reading and protection. Love this mini!

I had an iPad Mini that i loved about three years ago that I replaced with an iPad Pro 10.5. Liked that, but for the last 2 or 3 years I've missed the size of the mini, so I finally traded it in and got the new mini again. Responsive, great screen, and the size makes things SO much better for my main use, reading or playing card games or Mahjonng in bed before I go to sleep. Build quality is, as usual, spot on as all Apple products always seem to be. I don't need a lot here so I have the smaller 64GB version, and with the trade in and the sale, got it for very little out of pocket. Nothing to complain about.

This is my third iPad, I had a first generation, a gen 1 mini, and now this one. I also owned a Samsung galaxy tab with an S-pen. Overall, I like the new one a lot so far. I’ve only owned it a few weeks, but it has impressed me. Very responsive, very fast loading, excellent image quality. It almost feels weightless, and the size of it is perfect for me. The only gripe that I have with it is that the bezels are still quite large compared to other versions and the iPhone, but it’s not a real problem. Mine was an open box, but it was undamaged and works a treat.

This is the latest version of the iPad mini and my third one. I love the mini because it fits in my purse and goes everywhere with me. I love the latest version because of its phenomenal speed and this version has 4x the memory so I can use all of my apps. An added bonus is this version is compatible with the Apple Pencil but that’s not a function I use. Soooo- this little baby houses my books, pics, music, games, documents and scheduling. Virtual social events are more fun especially when I cast to my TV. Multitasking and docking are a breeze. I got this as a special buy so the price was almost unbeatable. I love it!

I’ve used a number of different tablets from Samsung to other Android to the iPad (10” size) and I find this one to be my go to. First, it’s really the perfect size for me because I felt my full size iPad to be too big and too bulky to comfortably lie down and look at. Secondly, it’s got a great processor so it’s nice and fast which makes it great for multitasking. I can watch a video while opening up another app to search for something, for example. Lastly, it also looks great. It has a great aesthetic and is well designed. Overall, it’s a very good value and the quality is pretty top notch.

best Christmas. Larger capacity better camera and fast processor. Replacing my fathers iPad 2. This is a much bigger upgrade with longer battery life too.

Got this item for my mom. She loves it! It is the perfect size to fit in her purse, is pretty fast, and has good display.

I got this iPad for my Mom and set it up for her by transferring everything from her older iPad Mini 2nd generation that was getting very slow. Huge difference with speed and screen quality and responsiveness. My Mom is very happy with this and came in at right time as we use it to FaceTime each other since we haven't been able to see my parents recently. I noticed that when I FaceTime from my iPad Pro to this iPad mini, the video quality is better than when I used to FaceTime her with her older iPad Mini. I think the camera has higher frames per second because the motion feels more natural.

I have an iphone, macbook pro, and now have added this ipad to the collection. I can use it as a separate display when using my macbook with monitor, which allows me to have 3 total displays. But the main reason I bought it, is to study for an exam to get securities licensed. It's easier to read the text book pdf since the screen is bigger than my phone, lighter than the textbook, and easier to take anywhere vs my laptop. Screen size is perfect.. I plan to eventually get the ipad pro when using for client meetings / presentations in person so that I have the bigger screen for clients to see.

I had the iPad mini 1 but 90% of the apps wouldn't work on the iOS so I upgraded to the 5 and I'm very happy. Perfect size, easy to take on the go, and very fast.

I bought this iPad to use for my Kindle Books to read on, as it's much easier to hold and use for that purpose than the larger screen iPads. If you are looking for something that you use to read with, this is a great choice. Much easier to hold and handle and you still can use it for the same great apps and offerings from Apple, too, without having a huge screen. I have a larger screen iPad, too, which I enjoy for watching movies and using for work things, but having a smaller option just for reading makes a lot of sense and works really well for what I need it for!

I’ve had this iPad for about a week now and I’m in love with it. I’ve used many different iPads in the past including the budget iPad models and the iPad Pro models. I found those iPads quite big and cumbersome to use, especially for reading ebooks and playing games. This iPad is perfect for reading, playing games and my arms and hands don’t get fatigued after holding it for long periods of time. This iPad handles every app like a boss thanks to the A12 Bionic chip. Will be using this iPad for a long time. Most people don’t like the same design of the iPad mini, but it doesn’t bother me.

I had the iPad 7th generation and I got this one. Comparing the two I love this one better because it is portable, great camera quality and it is fast.

Great iPad, perfect size to throw in a bag and go, light weight can hold for hours, perfect to read with. Awesome product, you won’t be disappointed.
