My mother in law was looking for a tablet after her Nexus 9 gave up on her. She is very much an Android person and so am I, but at this point it's hard to find an Android alternative that really nails the tablet experience compared to an iPad. I recommended the Mini over the standard iPad because of the better screen and newer processor (as of May 2020 anyway). The size is great and makes it something that gives you enough screen, but is still easy to carry around. iOS is as solid as ever and nobody else has as many tablet-optimized apps as Apple does. It also helps to know that Apple will consistently and reliably update it for several years to come and that's not something I've seen in Android since the Nexus tablets.

This is my second IPad mini, I was so excited when Apple finally came out with an upgrade. If you’re looking for a power packed but smaller screen tablet it’s perfect. Crystal clear pixels and great performance.

I'm going to come out and say that I have no NEED of tablets. It's more of a want and a toy to play with. It makes certain things more convenient, but I've never NEEDED it. That being said, I've always had the 9.7 inch iPads and they were great. But they always felt a tad bit big to me and not the easiest to handle unless you have two completely free hands. The size of this iPad mini is big enough that it feels like an upgrade to using a smartphone, while not feeling like it's too much of a handful to handle. Not to mention it has A12 processor to help it stay speedy. This makes for a perfect entertainment tablet, especially a gaming one. And being an Apple product, fit and finish is top of the line as usual.

Excellent iPad. Upgraded from the bigger Air 2. Took some adjusting but I much prefer this form factor. Nice battery life and A12 processor. Great screen. Only supports Apple Pencil gen 1

Perfect size for what I need it for! As a personal trainer this is the perfect size to work with and it works with the pencil :)

I have been really enjoying my new iPad mini! It allows me to access some of the apps I require without toting around my laptop. I can conveniently carry the mini in my purse. It is quick and seems to meet my needs well.

The tablets are the only Apple devices I own. Slthis one's small, fast, great screen. Add on the Apple Care plan for two years, and it's a no brainer!

best small tablet on the market! Can easily hold in one hand. Very easy to set up. Works flawlessly. Pages load very fast .I’ve set up Netflix and have not had any issues at all.

My mini 4 was getting a bit long in the tooth, so the mini 5 is a welcome update. Faster processing, great display and camera. The mini continues to be a versatile tablet for everyday use.

Great: pictures, audio, video, speed, gestures, physical & virtual assistant interface, processing speed, apps, build quality, display, RAM, battery endurance. Good: multitasking, privacy (* = getting better but still not up to BlackBerry’s level), durability (*) Suggestion to Apple: partner with BlackBerry for more privacy & security improvements. The BlackBerry 10 gestures have already helped to improve your products. Suggestions to 3rd Parties for integrating in external case features: front & rear manually slidable camera covers, solar Qi charger

Works great for my needs and with 2 kids, who also use it, the price was great. Movies, art, surfing the web etc. all work as I hoped and the games available for kids are great as well.

Love my new iPad mini. It has 64 GB. My old one only had 16GB so much more space. It’s the perfect size for home and traveling. Battery life is so much better than the old one. Perfect for my needs.

the use and function on this new ipad are as fun and productive as the games and videos you can see from it. lightweight and easy to carry can last till gen 9

Excellent tablet with a good amount of storage for pictures and videos. Takes great pictures too. The size is convenient for my life to carry in her tote bag or pocketbook.

My kids use this everyday. During the week for school and on the weekends for gaming. It's fast enough to play minecraft and fortnite (until they pulled fortnited from the app store). My kids had the iPad mini 4 before this and the iPad mini 2 before that. I (and the kids) really like this form factor. It's not too big like a 10" or larger iPad, but still very usable for remote e-learning, zoom calls, etc. They do their primary learning/work from a laptop, but will sometimes use the iPad as a device to call in on the zoom and have the laptop used for their work at the same time. Great upgrade and 100% satisfied.

This is my first I Pad and I love it. Great camera and apps very fast! Love playing games on it too versus games on my phone. Battery also long lasting. I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved the size of this iPad 9.7". It's not too large for my hand. Also the retina displays color is amazing well. The process speed was blazing fast. I can't get my hands off this iPad. Apple did it again!

I’ve owned large iPads and also minis before. I prefer the mini for reading books, online activities and games. This new one is great. It’s fast, portable and stylish. Perfect for me.

I love this iPad. It small enough to fit in my daughters bag. It's fast, lightweight and perfect. My daughter loves it. No issues as of yet.
