I bought the iPad mini shortly before the new base iPad was released. Before this new iPad was released choosing the iPad mini over the base iPad was an easy choice because of the faster processor. Now they have the same processor but I still would have chosen the iPad mini because it has a better front facing camera and comes with 64gb vs 32 gig on the base model. I also wanted the smaller size.

This is an upgrade for an older model I have. Very good performance, weight and size for my needs, especially for travel.

The iPad mini 5 is great device for content consumers. This tends to be the iPad most of us small-plane pilots use since its very accessible and takes very little space in the cockpit. It's super reliable and provides great screen quality at a high speed. The price is perfect. I highly recommend this device for anyone who has a specific use case for a smaller iPad.

Love this machine. Was tired of dragging my bulky laptop out to the my lanai to read my emails and visit websites. It's touchscreen so no keyboard needed. It's light weight and compact. The screen pixels are outstanding and is bright and colorful. I also purchased the matching the protective cover which has a fold-out stand to rest the iPad on a table. I highly recommend to get the cover since the machine is delicate.

Fabulous iPad. Super fast processor very high density screen great size when surfing the web or watching movies. It’s just the right size to be held in the hand bigger than my iPhone and smaller than my iPad Pro. Yes it’s a little dated with some larger bezels but not an issue at all. Surfing the web is a joy with the aspect ratio of this iPad and the A12 processor can really crush the games if you want to do that. Overall a great iPad experience.

I purchased this iPad mini as a gift and it is wonderful. The size was perfect not too small or too big. The processor is super fast. It feels like a newer model phone with longer battery capability. The iPad battery will last on average a day or two with heavy usage. The user loves the button unlike the iPhone and the apps work/look great on the screen.

So far, so good! Lightweight, easy to use, fast, great battery life. Get one if you can!

I use this for writing (with pen) and typing (with external keyboard). I also use it to digest media (which is the reason I bought the device). It's excellent and makes my iPad Pro a little less useful. The speed, performance and size make it the first thing I put in my bag. It's a solid device.

Got this to replace my mini 4. Night and day difference. Same chip inside as the new iPad air. Better screen that. Previous model and it's the perfect size for quarantine life. I use it as a primary computer now that I hurt my arm. Right size not to drop it / bother my arm, record / edit / post videos for classis super fast, perfect size to type on. Got mine open box to reduce the cost. It was mint.

I bought this after my first generation iPad mini became obsolete. It is perfect for travel. I use the iPad mostly for reading and to watch videos so I can't say whether it is good or not for more advanced usage or for games. It is light weight. The battery life has been good so far. The graphics are crystal clear and it is fast. The new mini is definitely an upgrade from my old mini.

I've had this for a year now, and it is easily one of my best purchases I've made. This is right at the sweet spot, and it does everything I need it to do. It is not too big, and is put easily away. One of the key specs that this ipad has is the A12 chip, which runs great and knocks everything out the park that I push at it. I was also fortunate that Best Buy was able to price match this (even though at its current price, it is still great), so it was my best purchase for 2019. I sue this daily, and I initially got the Apple Pencil and a bluetooth keyboard for it, but I hardly use those, especially the keyboard. The pencil mainly comes into play when I use it for work, but it is not a necessity as I thought it would be. All in all, when compared to the other tablet lineups, Apple really designed it for those that did not want to deal with the larger size tablets, that the pro and regular ipad gives, but still offers the speed, which really makes this ipad mini my favorite tablet. Well worth the purchase, and I highly recommend it. I

For my needs, this iPad mini is just the right size! Super portable, with a quick processor and highly responsive beautiful screen. Not really digging the fact that apple chose to give it the new processor but still kept the home button design. I’m so used to my iPhone having no home button that it was an adjustment to use a home button. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

I love my Apple Mini iPad. It’s the perfect size and weight with all the features I need. It was easy to set up and I use it every day - playing games, Zooming with family, getting emails and texts and doing everything else I did on my regular iPad. This one, however, fits conveniently in my purse and is lightweight. I rarely use my larger iPad any more. Great purchase.

The new iPad is faster and holds a charge much longer. Though the color is supposed to be more vivid, I found I had to get used to it. Some pictures were not as vibrant. Some things didn't transfer from my old one, but I think it was because of how old it was. It was nothing important. The ease of transfer was great!

I haven't had an ipad since the first gen mini, and I'm very impressed with how good they've gotten. It feels very fast in normal usage, in terms of capability it feels a bit closer to an ultra-small laptop than an upscaled smartphone, which I like a lot about it. Web pages are very usable (I use the Ghostery browser instead of included Safari) and app switching is really quick. I was also really surprised to see that desktop photoshop is being ported to ipad now, and while it's not at all as capable yet it's still impressive to see such a small and relatively inexpensive tablet running it. The size and lightness make it very encouraging to bring it with you, which is exactly what I like about it. I'd say it provides a lot of the day-to-day functionality of a laptop without the more cumbersome size of one, so I end up using it a lot. I will say that battery life hasn't been the 'ten hours' that I expected, you won't be glued to the wall but if you expect to be using it for more than six hours from a full charge I'd say it's a good idea to have a charger with you. You'll still use a laptop for more advanced work, but this is excellent at doing the things it's good at

This was an open box iPad. Haven’t found anything wrong with it yet. It runs s lot faster and smoother than any of my other iPads. I like the weight and size of this one more than the others and the clarity is very nice. I would recommend this item to anyone who is interested in Apple products.
