Expensive but works sounds great. Would be 5 stars is a bit cheaper. A small inconvenience to use outside of apple ecosystem

Excellent sound quality and noise cancellation. Although they’re very expensive these are the best over the ear noise cancellation headphones on the market.

Purchased this product for my wife upgrading from some older style headphones.. and I must say we were VERY impressed. First the overall comfort - it is light weight and comfortable to wear for hours on end. Great battery life and overall the color just pops which makes this a very modern attractive product. Lastly the music output/quality is amazing compared to other brand on the market. The price is a bit much but well worth the purchase especially while on sale. 10/10 would recommend.

Cost still makes me feel weird and I purchased mine while they were on sale but being honest I’ve never experienced sound like this. I have many headphones because I’m into VR and 3D is a must (btw - these do not work well with VR). The best I can describe is the sound makes me feel like I’m in a small room with a band playing around me and a concert is happening just for me! Amazing!! The noice cancellation is top notch and can not be beat. The build is a typical Apple build, high class and strong! Look at this as a investment or whatever you must tell yourself to purchase these!

These headphones are sleek! A little pricey but well worth it if you love apple products. The integration into the Apple community is second to none. Very Happy with the purchase.

Upon getting these headphones, I ripped them out of the box (metaphorically), excited about the amazing quality and feel and everything about it! Then I realized a few things... - It sounds good... but if you already own the AirPods Pro then this isn't for you - Transparency sounds canned. Where in either of the AirPods Pro generations, it feels like you're hearing with your ears, the AirPods Max feel like you're listening from microphones (you are in both cases, the audio is just more real and accurate with the in ears) - The audio doesn't sound any better. Having bought this after using my AirPods Pro Gen 2 for the past few months, I was really honestly disappointed to find out that the audio didn't sound better than them, and in some instances it sounded a bit (a teensy bit but still) worse. - It does weigh a lot so keep that in mind All in all, this is a good product, just not the best. Obviously this is all in my opinion and your experience might be better, but I hope this helps!

Pros: comfortable, high build quality, great controls with the Digital Crown very good sound quality, very good noise cancellation, easy device switching (iOS devices), easy pairing process Cons: no 3.5mm jack for wired listening, case is only way to “turn off”, less battery life than my last pair of Bluetooth noise canceling headphones (Sony WH1000XM3’s). To me the pros outweigh the cons. these are great sounding headphones with the best feature set for users inside the Apple ecosystem.

These headphones have surpassed my expectations. The build quality is way better than any wireless headphones I have tried or used. Not everyone will be able to use these headphones since you need an iPhone, but if you want good audio quality with the Siri integration you find in the AirPods, these are much better than the in-ear.

The features, textures, BRAND, lives up to the price. You can feel why its a bit on the pricey side but if you give it a try you would be content because of what exactly you bought aside from sounding remarkable good, its great for when youre on the phone and handling other business besides music would recommend to everyone in my family.

These headphones have great sound, both bass and highs. I beleive they have better soind than even the Beats. The price is a little more that I would normally pay for headphones, but the build quality, sound, and integration into the Apple ecosystem is too goood to pass these up.

A bit on the heavy side and may slide off your head. Other than that, they sound amazing. Great for the apple eco-system.

I have way too many headphones/earbuds in my home. My wife says that I have a problem, and she's probably right. My first reaction when I saw Apple introduce these headphones was; I can't wait to try them out. I've been using their AirPods, and AirPods Pro since release so I had high expectations for them. Then, they announced the price, I had to pause. I really didn't think I was going to end up purchasing them. I do own a few headphones around the $400 mark, but the Max's price seemed a bit too high for something unproven. Fast forward a few months, and I finally had the opportunity to purchase these headphones. My curiosity won out and I took the plunge. They finally had the Sky Blue color I was looking for, and I placed the order. I have zero regrets purchasing them, and they have become my default, goto headphones. Sound quality is unmatched. There are other headphones that come close. Sony and Bose have some great headphones that cost a couple of hundred less that have great sound. Those headphones get very close to the sound quality of the Max, but the Max wins out by a bit. The Max have great, great separation, and some amazing bass. Regardless of what type of genres you listen to, you will find some nuances to your music that you probably haven't noticed before. Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode are also both amazing. The noise cancellation does a great job of muting the world around you for the most part. It struggles with some low frequencies from my experience but easily drowns out most noise. I've yet to hear a better 'transparency' mode from any other manufacturer. Transparency mode on the entire AirPods line up is unmatched. It sounds natural and not robotic/amplified. I have heard others complain about weight being an issue. The Max are noticeably heavier than most of the other wireless headphones. After using these for over a month, I can confidently say that I don't notice the weight at all anymore. I use the Max for hours on end for movies, music, podcasts, and calls and I don't have issues with them sliding around, or feeling pressure. They are comfortable for me. What pushes these headphones ahead of the competition for me are the Apple ecosystem features. The fact that they auto switch to whatever ever device I am using, iPhone, iPad, or MacBook, is amazing. Just like the other AirPods, once you pair it to one Apple device, iCloud connects it to every other Apple device. Access to iMessages, Siri is great. The connection is solid and once again unmatched. I can go outside, all around my home and not lose connection or hear stuttering/drop out when I leave my device in the bedroom. The cost is considerable, but if you are considering some of the slightly less expensive offerings from Sony or Bose, and you are already invested in the Apple ecosystem, I'd give these a chance. I am glad I did, and I would be hard pressed to go back to a different set of headphones.

I love them! They have just the right amount of base and noise cancellation. Not too overpowering of a sound but just right!
