Great noise cancelling, comfortable and easy to control volume

I really like these. The only thing I don’t like is that they tend to fall down when I’m laying down while working out.

I wasn't considering these based on the price and how fancy the design was trying to be. After scanning the closest competition from Sony, Beats and Bose (I've owned previous versions of them all) I decided to purchase try these and bring them back within 14 days if they didn't measure up. My need is a stellar headphone set for video calls with unwavering noise cancellation, a solid microphone that carries through on the other end of the call, and a way to turn off the noise cancelling without removing the headphones. The volume knob is a great bonus, button for speaker mode works great, the transparent mode is incredible, the mike is so good it took time to get used to. The mike quality in transparent mode alone eliminates the Bose quiet comforts from future considerations. The cans are heavy but I feel like I'm less likely to damage them. My main observation is the quality when paired with a Mac or Apple device makes the cost irrelevant because I've bought a high end version of every brand headphone BBY sold over they last 10 years and I've never heard sound so perfectly matched to.a room's acoustics. I frequently think the sound isn't coming out of the headphones because the acoustics produced are flawless and with the right media, you can't tell your not in the room with people on the other end of the call if you close your eyes. If I have to say so etching negative so you can trust my word on this, Apple left the cord up design up to the intern or the revenue officer. It's so stupidly short and non-conforming they shouldn't have bothered, But they did because they don't want to be on the news for not including one. I have serious concerns about the effect of charging it via my laptop will have on my Mac Air over time. The shortness guarantees the headphones will be scratched up good in 6 months. But that sound and they fact that every feature works better than I could have expected, significantly surpassing the competition's feature quality makes this the first set of overpriced headphones from BBY in 10 years that are 100% worth buying.

These are the greatest headphones for blocking crying baby sounds on an airplane. Seriously. I won’t travel without them. Let the babies scream. I am one happy camper.

Are they expensive? Too much so? Probably. Are they great? Yes. Do you need them: That's for you to decide. But if you have the $, you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love these! The color is fantastic, the noise cancelling is superb and the battery lasts for so long. As a college student, I use these for lectures a ton even in the busiest areas with lots of noise but it's like I'm in the classroom with the professor right there thanks to the noise cancelling.

The audio and noise canceling is great and the battery is decent. I did have slight trouble with the headphones recognizing when they were on and off my head.

They sounds great...as good as mid to high range wired headphones. A++ Quality build Noise cancelling is fantastic. On par with Bose , if not better. Comfortable to wear for hours

These are so much nicer than expected. I own the AirPods Pro, the Bose qc35ii, qc45, Sony 1000xm4, and the beats studios. Out of all of these my favorite two are the qc35ii, and the AirPods Max. They have two very different sound signatures, and they have two very different uses. For iPhone integration the AirPods Max are phenomenal, the way they’re so seamless and easy to use on apple devices makes them my go to on the go. The sound quality is great, just make sure you adjust the maximum volume threshold within your device. The ear mapping DOES make a difference, and so does the fit on your head. I love these for the transparency mode. They’re great to use in the office and I like the ability to cancel out outside noise during meetings I also enjoy the ability to let sound through so I can be aware of my surroundings. There’s a downside to noise cancellation and it’s honestly the fear of not knowing what’s going on around me. For phone calls these aren’t GREAT. They’re good. As with any apple device I’ve ever used for calls the wired headphones are still superior to everything else in regards to call quality. For calls I use a poly voyager headset as my first go to, the qc35ii are AMAZING for calls, and the AirPods Max are somewhere last. But if it’s all I have I know they work just fine. For music they’re great. The battery life is great, and just the ability to move between devices in the “Apple ecosystem” seamlessly as long as it’s connected to your Apple ID is great. The blue color is super nice in hand and honestly stands out compare to the rest. While the neutral tones are great the blue is more of a periwinkle and it’s the best color in my opinion.

Whether you're a music lover, an audiophile, or just someone who appreciates good design and great technology, these headphones are an excellent choice.

The obvious downside to these are they less convenient that AirPods, not sweat resistant and can hurt the ears if worn long periods of time. However, they do work very well, very premium build and good battery life.

I love taking these when I go on trips. It keeps outside sounds from coming through. Music and podcasts come in crystal clear and the charge lasts a very long time.

The AirPods Max offer a lot to love about them, for my uses. The sound is phenomenal, the spatial audio is very cool, the Active Noise cancellation is excellent, the build and materials used are better than anything I have seen. and the fact they are Apple means they work in all my devices. I really like them. But, I really don't like that fact that I have to fork out more money for a decent case. My main criticism of these headphones is the fact that I have to buy a case and rubber/plastic can protectors to keep these looking decent. Nevertheless, the overall performance of these headphones is something I could not find in any other set. One notable characteristic I love is the simple controls Apple incorporated in them, and the fact they did not use some gee whiz tech, such as invisible finger controls, that can cause some very unnecessary problems.
