This is definitely a premium audio experience (not audiophile, premium) for the users who have a lot of Apple products or are used to how the Apple ecosystem works. The sound quality is good enough that it will impress most people, and the seemless connection between Apple products makes it a better option than most other headphones in this price range. Also the proprietary spacial audio technology that Apple uses, combined with the effective active noise cancellation (ANC) makes watching movies in a noisy environment a special experience. The head tracking truly makes it sound like you are watching a movie in front of a Dolby Atmos entertainment system in a theater. As for the drawbacks, the usual stuff that everyone talks about. The case is not great. I am not alone in wanting a way to fully switch off the headset. But is okay to live with until the second generation comes out to address this issue. Also along those lines, I would like a way to see the battery percentage without putting them on and checking my device. Those two things arent a huge deal if you are going to leave them plugged into a lightning connector most of the time they aren't being used, but for someone who travels a lot and is dependent on battery availability, I could imagine it would get quite annoying. If you aren't switching between Apple devices all the time, or want to save money, then you would probably be better off with the competition from Sony or Bose.

The sound quality is top of the line. I have tried multiple sony headphomes but the Airpods max blows them out of the water. The transparentcy mode is also a highlight for me, it soumds very realistic.

I really like the Apple integration and handoff. The Design is great looking. The downside is the weight. Also, they do not fold down as compact as the Bose

I tried all the top noise cancelling headphones and found the Airpods Max to be the most comfortable. I like the fabric lining rather than the faux leather on other brands. Music is excellent and the noise cancelling outstanding (and convenient with my iphone). I bought them primarily for the noise cancelling for air travel and they have been great.

These are hands down the best headphones I have ever had an to say I’m a headphone snob is accurate! They are so comfy fit your head perfectly the sound I can’t even begin to say how clear and clear it is.

The Apple Airpod max are the perfect audio companion. The feel and finish is amazing. My only gripe about these is that they feel a little heavy but ive gotten used to them. It is a magical audio experience

Great sound quality and noise cancellation. The product itself feels high quality. They are a bit heavy wearing them for long use which is the only down fall of these headphones.

The headphones are well worth the upgraded price. The sound quality is amazing, the noise cancellation is phenomenal, and setup with Apple devices is seamless! I was skeptical but I can’t go to any other over the ear headphones now. These are extremely comfortable, even when laying on your side in bed!

Bought these for my Grandson to use in his dorm room. He says they are perfect. He can turn the noise dampening on/off easily and are very comfortable. Easy interface with his phone. He must like them, he seems to have them on constantly!!!!

The spaciousness is amazing. If you want a headphone that sounds very natural and very crisp, then you will want these. The clarity is amazing , The bass is so clean and smooth. Very comfortable to wear for hours.
