The noise cancellation on these is exceptional! Overall, I love the headphones. The battery life is very good, I only charge it once a week. The connectivity to my devices is seamless, the sound quality is great, and they are sleek and easy to carry around. However, they cause bad headaches at the beginning. You would need to break them in by using them a lot or just expanding them for a couple of seconds to make them not too tight on your ears.

Noise cancelation is good but the transparency mode is amazing. The sound quality is good and the fit is good aswell. Wearing for long time doesn’t feel uncomfortable or get uncomfortable either.

I bought these for my wife. She loves them with one exception, having a smaller head even in their smallest setting they aren’t that secure if she’s moving about or has he head down for very long. She likes that they pair seamless and easily to all her Apple products. She also appreciates the actual volume knob. Sound is full and active noise control works well. If you want to experience true HD music though you’ll need to look elsewhere as these, like the majority of all Apple products including their IPhones, aren’t capable of producing true High Resolution sound. Really seems shortsighted to me that Apple won’t join the growing demand of great music. The wife doesn’t care but for me I prefer Focal or the higher level Sennheiser headphones for true music and movie experience.

Great set of headphones. The sound quality is really good and comfort of the ear pads is second to none. The instant pairing to all your iOS devices is awesome. ANC and transparency mode are some of the best around. However, I felt that they were a little too heavy for my head and wearing them for extended periods (over an hour) would start to get some fatigue. They are also VERY expensive and a pure luxury item. While I loved having these, I ultimately returned them due to cost.

I guess the saying “You get what you pay for” still holds true. The sticker shock on these headphones is real, and still to this day I wince at thinking about how much money I spent on them…but then again, they are the, or one of the, best headphones I have ever owned. The crisp, accurate, crystal clear highs and punchy, booming, but not drowned out, bass of these headphones is definitely a thing of beauty. They are very comfortable, with the caveat being they can be a bit hot on the ears on warmer days, and the headband works amazingly well with no hot spots so your head won’t be sore if you wear them for a long time. Battery easily last all day for me, often multiple days if I am not using them endlessly, and of course they work seamlessly with all Apple devices. You will find yourself rediscovering songs you thought you knew but actually never heard the full range of sound, with these headphones.

What a feel you get when you hold these in your hand and put them on your ears. They’re really what they are advertised. Quality has held well over these years. Battery life barely can tell they’re almost two years old. I love them! Ease of use and sound it’s perfect: only downside-I worry if they’d fall of if I were to make a sudden move, but they haven’t yet.

The fit and finish is what you would expect from an Apple product. They are really comfortable, the noise canceling does a great job, and the battery life is fantastic!

Fantastic quality and great sound. If you’re within the Apple eco system and you prefer over the ear headphones these are great. The controls are convenient and not overly done. The noise cancellation and pass through are also better than expected. They are comfortable to me at least although if I wear them longer than an hour my ears tend to sweat. Battery life has been great and better than what I had expected after watching numerous reviews. Only thing that prevents a 5 star is the price. While they are of great quality and the product has been tremendous for me, the price is a little higher than I wanted to pay initially and I got them on sale. Also the carrying case for them is… weird. At the end of the day it’s not a deal breaker, but I’m not a huge fan. Overall great product. Fluid between all my Apple products and would recommend.

I don't understand the hype for these headphones. They are definitely just a status symbol at this point because the sound quality is just not there. They sound no different than my AirPods Pro 2. And the AirPod Pros can be found at less than half the cost of these. If you just prefer over ear headphones to in ear headphones that would be the ONLY reason to get these. That, and how seamless they are in the Apple ecosystem. They transfer flawlessly between my Apple devices....but so do the AirPod Pros at half the cost. The Bose QC Ultras have a much better sound than these if you're looking for better sound quality. APM have not been updated since they were released in 2020 except for adding USBC port. They are also HEAVY, and the earcups will leave your ears WARM. I mean, they look nice and it has good build quality...but they need to be LIGHTER. After an hour or so I can feel the pressure on my head and/or neck. They are not comfortable for long term use. The Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes are great though. If you can put up with average sound at a high price then go for it. I am gonna stick with the Bose QC Ultras and return these. Maybe Apple will make some updates soon like making them lighter and the sound better. Then maybe I'll consider them again. I REALLY wanted to like them.

Found best price at Best Buy for these. The noise canceling and transparency mode is amazing! The sound quality and spatial audio are the best sound experience I’ve ever had. They are heavy but great quality and you get used to it. The cover is lackluster, really only prevents scratches when in a backpack.

I bought it and Bose but ended keeping the Bose, why: 1- nice sound separation but killer low volume ! 2- nice sturdy design but really heavy on head after little time. why I kept Bose 700: 1- not strange like apple max but more comfortable (less weight as well) 2- sound better! yes believe me, I am sadly saying that! and more volume with hurting your ears! 3- more affordable 4- surprisingly works good with apple devices (main point for an apple guy!) I can tolerate all cons but not low volume. that volume doesn't worth the price tag!

I also found the lack of a dedicated power button slightly frustrating, as the headphones occasionally remained connected when I thought they were off. Overall, these headphones are an excellent choice if you’re in the Apple ecosystem and don’t mind the Lightning port. Unfortunately, they weren’t the right fit for my needs, but I would still recommend them for their superior sound quality and comfort.

LOVE the headphones, Extremely comfortable and I feel like I can wear them all day long, I didn't find them heavy at all. Sounds quality is great. I thought the bass picks up when needed and everything else is very clear. Biggest complaint is that the Case is an embarrassment

Good sound quality with clear bass, miss and highs. In my opinion they sound much better, richer and fuller than the Sony WH-1000XM4. The headphones are easy to listen to for an hour or more and I do not notice any fatigue. They are heavy, but the headband is unlike anything else I have used before and does a very good job to distribute the weight on the top of the head such that I do not feel that comfort is an issue even after more than an hour of wear. I did not experience any condensation buildup as others have reported. Noise cancellation is best in class and the transparency mode is superior to both Bose and Sony. Unlike the Sony WH-1000XM4 and its XM3 predecessor (both of which I’ve owned), the AirPods Max do exhibit some sound leaking. This may or may not be a problem when listening at night depending on volume level and other person’s sensitivity.

Sound quality is really good, if you have bigger ears they will get pinched between the cuffs and your head which can be little painful, Also they are a little heavy which can lead to fatigue in the neck. The battery life does last a long time, but they will die very quickly in the cover case.
