The airpod max have true noise canceling and the colors are fun

I run a small recording studio and have a speaker system probably worth 10,000$ all told. Do these sound better than that? No. They don't, really. But they sound good. And they look gorgeous. I'm not gonna lie, that's why I got them instead of Sony's offering. Who doesn't like good design? Who doesn't like to touch something that is really beautifully crafted? I do at least. Anyway, I'm not totally sure I'd say this is a smart way to spend 500 dollars. But I'm not that smart. I'm kind of a weirdo. And I thought these were neat, so I got them. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could; close to perfect.

Compared to existing and less expensive BT headphones: Pro: Ear cups are removable for cleaning. Device is tied to your Apple ID account. Con: Video streams randomly stop even when Automatic Head Detection is off and Spatial Audio isn’t setup. (It’s the AirPods because pressing the Digital Crown restarts the stream. AirPod Pros do the same but there’s no DC and the stream has to be restart from the display.) Squelching or sound from one ear cup, and difficulty reconnecting or syncing. There is a Connect To This Device feature that I’ve had to turn off due to owning multiple Apple devices with BT always on. I will go with a less “smart” headphone on my next purchase. I wish manufactures did more real world testing.

I thought I was wasting my money with these but turns out I wasn’t. The real magic for me is how well they work with the Apple TV device. They are also incredibly clear and have an impressive build quality. I use them daily.

If you’re an Apple user and you have multiple Apple products. These over-the-ear headphones are the best. It works seamlessly throughout your Apple devices. There was deal, so I didn’t have to pay the full MSRP.

These are fantastic. I have never liked the earphones that go inside your ear. So I decided to purchase these. I got a great deal for Black Friday, which helped justify the cost. But they are lightweight and amazing for noise cancellation, Bluetooth, etc. The sound quality is exactly what I would expect from an Apple product - and I like that I can listen to the world around me if I choose to block it out. I am very happy with the purchase.

I honestly bought these with the intention to try them and return them. I was very hesitant to spend 550$ on a pair of Apple headphones. I have a pair of Focal headphones that were about 2k$ that I do my night time listening with. These headphones exceeded every expectation I had for them. These are remarkable, the sound quality, the bass, the noise cancelation all are the best I have heard. I have over 10 pairs of headphones and these are my most used. These are underpriced for the experience they give. I absolutely love this product, and would say to not hesitate to grab these. Welcome to the world of amazing audio...speechless.

Finally able to get these and couldn’t be happier. I love watching rock concert videos on Apple TV and sometimes I pull these off to be sure it’s not playing outside of the headphones and bothering the neighbors lol. Sounds perfect and great for movies and shows as well. I mostly use for Apple Music, phone calls and ANC. If you’re on the fence or wondering if they are worth it, I say yes! Highly recommend.

THE best noise canceling over the ear headphones on the market. The sound quality out of these are second to none as well, and the noise cancelling is incredibly good. Put it in ambient sound mode and it feels like you don't even have headphones on.

My wife loved these. Hige fan of the color and appearance. I end up trying to steal from her diring workouts because of the impeccable sound in comparison to my Bose 700.
