Premium quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Premium build quality with excellent sound clarity and top-tier noise cancellation. Extremely comfortable for long listening sessions and integrates seamlessly with Apple devices. Expensive, but the audio experience justifies it.

The upgrade I didn’t know I needed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the styling, long battery life, and noise cancellation. They aren’t the loudest headphones I’ve owned but they get the job done. They also let people in public know “I don’t want you to talk to me” which was my main reason for getting these even though I owned airpods pro already. My only complaint is the weak case. I wish there was something thst provided more protection for such expensive headohi es

AirPod Max Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best headphones I've bought! They are comfortable and fit perfectly. The noise cancellation is unmatched and transparency mode is amazing, it's so nice to be able to listen to music and still be able to hear someone if they are talking to you. I would definitely recommend these to anyone considering getting new headphones.

heavy
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.best part: the noise cancelling is superb. worst part: they are heavy. too heavy for all day use in my opinion. These headphones shine when I'm on the go. At the airport and at a cafe. However if I don't have a bag to store them in then they are inconvenient to carry around all day. good headphones but not worth the full price. Would be great headphones if they weighed less.

Apple Quality Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great high quality headphones. They are very comfortable and sound amazing. The Noise Cancellation works great as well. The biggest selling point for me on these is the Apple H Chip that allows you to connect to all of your Apple Devices Seamlessly. The price is definitely high, but I use them a lot.

Fantastic
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are worth every penny. I was hesitant at first because of the price tags but my fiancé convinced me and we each got a pair. Sound quality is awesome but my favorite feature is the transparency setting. They are on the heavy side so keep that in mind. Would absolutely recommend

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion, I think the AirPods Max are of much better quality (in both sound and build) than the Bose 700 noise cancellation headphones. If you're heavily in the Apple ecosystem as I am, then buying this is a no brainer since you could transfer sound to the AirPods Max seamlessly, unlike with Bose that sometimes lags. The headphones are a bit heavy on the head compared the the Bose 700, but the headband does its best to reduce discomfort. Overall, would totally recommend.

Great Headphones.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to pre-order these when they first came out in December, but they sold out very quickly. The headphones are great. Apple still has hot disappointed yet when it comes to their products. The sound quality, the design, and the color make them worth it. The first week of wearing them made my neck and head hurt a lot but I got used to them with time and now I even sleep with them on. If you like Apple things, and you got the money for this babies, then you will not regret your purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been a Bose fan for years, but after buying these Apple Airpod Max, Bose doesn’t even compare to the sound quality, comfortability, battery life, and compatibility with all my Apple devices. If you are on the fence like I was, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger. You wont regret your purchase.

Review for Airpod Pro Max
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply remarkable. These headphones have the greatest audio on the current market. The noise canceling is outstanding and the transparency is one of a kind. It’s sleek design allows for them to be worn everywhere. Overall, the price is a lot, but these headphones will change your perspective on music itself.

For exercise; addressing moisture/condensation.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As other reviews and reports have suggested, the AirPods Max do have a moisture/condensation issue (particularly in the earcups beneath the detachable cushions). As an avid jogger, I am going to share my experience with the headphones and recommendations on how to ensure they last as long as possible. • AirPods Max is a high-end, heavy-duty piece of audio equipment that should be taken care of to ensure it’s longevity. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” • These headphones have zero waterproof/water-resistance ratings. Exposing these headphones to moisture (like excessive sweat from exercise) is done with some risk of internal damage. I use these headphones for 30-45min/day jogging and walking. However, I have performed the following “routine” to minimize any possible damage. 1) Purchase AppleCare+. This allows customers to request two “accidental-damage” replacements every year for a $29 accident fee each time. Also, invest in MULTIPLE extra pairs of ear cushions from Apple. This way, you can alternate pairs to maximize the time each pair is given to air out after being drowned in sweat. (If you use them for intense exercise, it is likely that after a workout the ear cushions will be soaked with sweat). I alternate between two pairs of cushions for exercise (an “A” pair and “B” pair to use every other day). I also purchased a third pair of cushions to use for leisure-listening (do NOT use these for exercise). 2) After a workout/run/jog/etc., IMMEDIATELY remove the ear cushions, and set them to the side. Then, examine the headphones for any moisture, and use a lint-free cloth (dry) to remove any sweat that built up inside the headphones. If needed, wipe down the other parts (headband, outside of speakers, etc.). Once dry, turn the headphones face down so any internal moisture can fall away from the headphone’s components. (See image). 3) Examine the ear cushions that were just used during the workout. Again, in my experience, they will (likely) be soaked with sweat, so it is important to make sure they can air out as well. Dab a lint-free cloth (dry) against each cushion to remove any excess moisture. Then, turn them face down (i.e., the cushion side that touches ear facing downward) so any remaining moisture can escape and dry out. (See image). 4) Oftentimes, whenever I am airing out the cushions and headphones, I will place them (separately) in front of a fan so the drying process occurs more quickly. (See image). 5) Usually, I let the ear cushions air out for roughly 48 hours. Alternating between two pairs allows each pair to sit unused for that duration of time. 6) Usually, I let the headphones air out for at least SIX hours before using again. However, at most I do 24 hours since I use them everyday for exercise. • This process sounds intricate, but these headphones need to be taken care of. Again, these are only my recommendations; using them for exercise will always carry SOME risk. Even though I use these for intense exercise and expose them to a lot of sweat, using this process allows me to not worry about my sweat/exercise dangerously damaging my headphones. If you want a pair of headphones for exercise but don’t want to follow a detailed care regimen for them, I would recommend finding a pair that has some level of moisture resistance. These headphones provide superb sound quality, but does come at the cost of having to take extra steps to make sure they are being treated well (and staying dry).

Worth the money!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great audio quality, seamlessly connects across my iOS devices. Battery lasts a while. I use them constantly and have only had to charge them around 2 or 3 times since I’ve gotten them. Plus I’m in love with the colors.

Apple - AirPods Max (Lightning) - Space Gray
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with these Apple - AirPods Max. They have the Lightning port, so I save a few bucks, but I’m telling ya, these sound so amazing! They’re built really good and feel extremely comfortable and yet super stable. I really love the noise cancellation option at just a simple tap of the button. I still have a set of 2nd gen air pods that’ve been through the washing machine a couple times, but I’m seriously enjoying some music, these AirPods Max are my go to! Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

The best quality headphones overall!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The color, the build, the quality, the sound... everything about these headphones is amazing! When you turn the volume up the bass and other acoustics do not decline, like other headphones, which is a huge thing for me. The battery life is also decent. However, my only critique is I wish they had some type of water resistance so I could use them at the gym. But that is not a deal breaker for me. Highly recommended, especially if you can get them on sale.

Thoughts after six months or so daily use
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not purchase these in the silver/white colorway. Unless you religiously clean them (which is a hassle) they will grow dingy with time. I've never had a problem throwing the ear cups in the wash, and carefully scrubbing the headband with detergent and water, but they will not stay proper white forever and you'll wish you bought Space Grey. If you're worried about the charging case thing, don't. I bought these and immediately threw it away. Reviews when I first bought the Max made it sound like this was some integral part of the headphones - it's not. I've never put them in that case once. I have had no issues with battery life just letting them be outside of the case. They don't take long to charge, and in the rare event they should get to critically low battery just set them to charge somewhere for an hour and they'll be back to nearly full power. The sound is great - incredibly clear, and enjoyable. Because they're wireless there's a cap on how good the audio quality you'll get from these is, but as far as wireless, convenient set-ups go it's really great. Apple made a big fuss about how easy they are to switch between Apple products but it's not quite as simple as you'd expect. They work great with the iPhone - pair them to the phone and they'll usually switch right over but: Your Macbook/iMac products will detect when the Airpods Max are close by, and tell you "nearby" but will require you to click to switch them over. This doesn't always happen on the first try and can require some finagling to get them to actually connect which can be a minor inconvenience that gets more frustrating over time. Additionally they tend to want to switch back to the iPhone, so if you're listening to audio from your Apple computer but accidentally trigger some sound on your iPhone you will lose connection and have to reconnect. I recognize these are distinctly first world, not-enough-to-complain about problems. The noise cancelling is actually shocking at first. Blocks out almost all the noise you could hope for and maybe a little more. Works great as a headset for phone calls and Zoom meetings but the aesthetic takes some getting used to - it's like having two aluminum bars of soap on either side of your head. Microphone quality is fine - pretty clear but you wouldn't record a podcast on it. That said, there is also a passthrough mode that uses microphones to essentially pipe in the outside audio as a means to let you hear what's going on around you, and participate, while keeping the headphones on. This is sort of handy, but most people will not engage with you because you have headphones on, and because these things are big it sends a pretty clear social message that you cannot hear, so the in real life usefulness of the passthrough for conversation is suspect at best. Sure, you can explain that "oh yes, I can hear you there's actually a setting..." but at that point just take the things off. The "head detection" is nifty. The inside of the cups have little detectors that can tell when your ear is inside and will turn the headphones on/off and pause your media as a result. This is tricky if you're trying to use them with only one ear to remain present in a room you're in as it will occasionally cut off audio because it thinks you're not listening. Prior to these I was using the Bose QC35ii headphones. These were an improvement on audio, and build quality. These are very expensive headphones. They feel expensive, but are they *really* worth $600 after tax? No, not really. Overall the audio/build quality doesn't justify the $300 price jump from similar models. If you like Apple, you'll like these, but next time I'll probably opt for a pair of headphones focused exclusively on audio quality.

Not bad but not the greatest
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They’re really cute and built really well. I think they are pretty comfortable too if you’re going to take the train or bus. They can get uncomfortable if it’s something more active, like working out. They can also feel a bit heavy. The pads are soft, but they can get uncomfortable if they are on for too long. Overall good, I just don’t think they are the best.
