I love these headphones! The sound quality is great along with the headphones themselves. The noise cancellation feature is definitely the best feature of these headphones. I wear them all the time for work and the battery life is astounding. They have yet to die on me unexpectedly. Although pretty pricey, I would recommend.

I feel like there is a lot of hate on this product because of cost, but in the vast array of headphones out there for both luxury and professional use these do not fall under the ridiculous expensive. Once you understand that you'll realize how truly great these headphones are, with the solid construction you expect from any apple product to the smooth adjustability and comfort not to forget the great sound quality and well balanced EQ, these are now my go to day to day over ear headphones and will probably remain as such for a long time to come.

I unfortunately love apple headphones, they sound great they don't feel too heavy, I don't sweat like a freak in these like I do with my sony headphones. The noise cancellation is wonderful you could rob me in these and I'd never hear you coming! Even better when on sale.

These headphones work well on any device, and can even be plugged into headphone jacks with an adapter (not included, unfortunately). I got the green pair, and they look great. The headphones produce a nice crisp sound and noise cancelation is better than the AirPods Max as well. If you can get this on sale, it’s a pretty good pair of headphones. They’re on the pricey side, so I wish they came with a more protective case, but they pair really well with Apple Devices. They are also compatible with Spatial Audio for tv shows/movies/Apple Music.

I am a huge sound person. I look for headphones with good bass but also quality of sound. The AirPod maxes have some of the best bass in headphones but also keeps quality of sound in mind. When I am traveling by going on flights, the noise cancellation feature makes it worth the price. I have had screaming children sit next to me and the noise cancellation makes me not hear them. Also, it eliminates 90% of the airplane engine noises on the flight, and that is with no music playing. When music is playing I can’t hear a thing. Downsides: I haven’t been a huge over-the-ear headphone person, because it hurts my head. Due to Apple making a more quality product and having the frame be out of metal, the headphones are heavier than competitors. After 2-3 hours of me wearing the headphone, my head starts to hurt from the weight of the headphones on me. This makes me not use the AirPod Maxes as much as I would like. Another issue is the sound. People are more than satisfied with how loud the headphones are, but I personally like my music really loud when I listen. The AirPod Maxes aren’t as loud as AirPod Pros and that is due to them being over the ear headphones, but you can easily fix this by adjusting the equalizer on music apps like Spotify. My last complaint is the noise cancellation mode. It has taken me almost 4 months to get use to the noise cancellation mode. When activated, the only way I can describe it is when your ears plug themselves when you have elevation change, but it also feels like the headphones are pushing inward on you.

it's really tough to beat the set up & general ease of use these, especially if you're in the Apple ecosystem. Starting w/ your iPhone/iPad, it's as easy as turning them on by your device. With the latest software on Macs, it's also much easier switching between your portable devices & Mac (this previously worked less well than one would like). The sound quality & the noise cancellation are excellent - they're pretty remarkable. Don't want noise cancellation? Turn on the "transparency" mode. For the weight, they're also rather comfortable. Some downside include: - not being able to turn them off. They go to sleep; but there's not "off" - the bra/carrying case ... which doesn't do a create job of protecting the metal housings - pulling the headphones out of the bra-case "clicks" the two cups together, which I feel will lead to abrasions over time.

Phenomenal headphones. Worth the extra money. Noise canceling is great. Blocks out the noise I need and the sound is great but even better when you change a few settings. They are a bit heavier than the Sonys or Boses but it’s not significant enough to be that concerned. The case sucks but you can get a case on Amazon they puts them in sleep mode too.

These headphones put any others to shame! The noise cancellation/sound quality can’t be beat! Comfort is amazing also. The price of course is up there but what do you expect from an exceptional Apple product?! You pay for what you get and it doesn’t get any better than this! Connecting and charging is as simple as it comes but it’s the quality that separates it from the rest!

I liked the AirPods and decided to give these a try and was happy to hear that these were better, the sound quality is super clear and paired with the sound cancellation it makes the price worth it. They hold up nicely and are a very comfortable feel and are strong

Are super comfortable, easy to connect and Battery life is durable

The transparency mode is why I got these. They say it's very heavy but I don't see that being a problem to my head atleast. The only thing I wish they would have is a wired connectivity in addition to wireless. Also the Mic quality could've been improved but it's not a deal breaker. Transparency mode all the way owns the market for headphones with these!

After having owned over 8 pairs of over-the -ear headphones, I have to admit that the Apple AirPodsMax have brought an even bigger smile to my face as I began to listen to them. They are extremely comfortable, even after hours of listening. The ANC is the best I have ever experienced and the Transparency mode, using multiple microphones, makes room sounds seem like I am listening live. Sound quality is remarkable for me as an avid audiophile. Incredibly natural!! Best Buy provided a smooth preorder process. Get them, they are a great addition to your Apple eco world.!
