I own alot of headphones Focal Bathys and B&W PX8's. The Airpods Max is very close to both and better as far as noise canceling and passthrough. The Focal sound is very spacious and wide, B&W is close to the same but more bass, Max sound is very nice and dynamic but not quite as good as either of the two. But if you have a Iphone and NC and passthrough is important to you the Iphone is the better buy especially when it is cheaper and they're good enough to make you say wow even if the other 2 is better and per person that is sometimes debateable.

These are top of the line headphones, there's no doubt about that. The sound is incredible, along with the clarity, bass, spatial audio, you name it. There's nothing to complain about when it comes to quality. Setup takes minutes. Battery life is pretty good (could be a little better in my opinion). The comfort is top notch. I have small head so for these headphones to fit and feel secure is a miracle. I only wish they'd come down in price a bit to better compete with Sony. Slightly overpriced and the possibility for better battery life is the only reason for 4 stars. They are sleek and stylish if you care about that sort of thing. I bought the Sony WH-100XM5's first because of the lower price point and nearly identical quality comparison and returned them ultimately because you have to pay a monthly subscription to enjoy spatial audio (lame). I enjoy these Apple's better because they sync easier obviously and spatial audio is included (that's definitely a perk). Ultimately, if you have the deep pockets for these, buy them. It's worth it.

Got these for my girlfriend and she loves them, the quality of these are nuts.

ive have both Bose and Sony but im really all apple except gaming and these where 399 cause they are trying to get rid of the lightning connector love the headphones wore them on a 14 hour flight I do wish though apple would have done something better chip wise with the new version but 150 off for slightly different color and lightning versus usb c for the same headphones same sound everything ill take it only thing that sucks its the case

I love these headphones. It took my wife about a week to take them from me so I bought a second pair In blue, which she then took and gave me back the space gray. So convenient for watching movies or show at home or on the go. I use them with my Apple TV to not disturb anyone late at night. Also great for travel. My wife and I both wore ours and watched movies on a 6 hour flight. 2 sets of headphones paired to one iPad !

Amazing sound, premium comfort, and top noise canceling — totally worth it!

Are these a great product? Yes. Does the word duh mean anything to you? BEYOND that though, something needs to be said about Best Buy and FedEx comin’ in clutch in the 11th hour. If you’re like me then you have your best pre-vacation epiphanies the 24 to 48 hours just before you have to leave. I didn’t even know these existed two days before we were going to head out and when I did see them, obviously I HAD to have them for my listening pleasure. Darn if they didn’t ship and arrive a clean hour plus before we pulled out of the driveway, allowing me ample to time to fully charge them up (they showed up with 78%). Thank you Apple for making yet another amazing product, thank you Best Buy for the genius way you handle an impulse buy in the middle of the night and thank you Fed Ex for not taking that detour to Starbucks.

As a wireless headphone, yes, they are on the expensive side. However, to put things in perspective, when talking about headphones from affordable to expensive, they are on the low-mid side. High-end wired headphones from beyer, Focal, Audeze. Sennheiser, etc. are at least 2x the price to 4x-6x. That being said, in terms of wireless performance, they are the most pleasing to my ears. Soundstage is wide for a closed back headphone, while imaging is very good. Those aspects combined create a very open, detailed musical experience wirelessly. Tuning is ever so slightly colored in sub-bass region (which I love) and perhaps some additional sparkle in the highs. Upper bass and mids sound great; sound is not "wooly" and vocals are detailed & present. Anyone that appreciates an airy, clean, yet bodied sound will likely love these. In terms of sound, for me, they beat out everything in the upper-tier wireless class (XM4, NC700, AONIC 50, Amiron, MW65), all of which I either have or had and sold/returned. Build quality stands alone. Aside from quality materials, the fabrication quality is top-notch. Yes, the case sucks. You'll need to order a proper case. The headband mesh feels nice, but I question it's long term performance/durability. I have no evidence it's an issue, but I would baby these things if I were you.

The sound quality is top-notch, with deep bass and crystal-clear highs—music and podcasts have never sounded better. The active noise cancelling is incredibly effective, making it perfect for my daily commutes and long flights. The price. I know. It hurts. It really hurts. But I gotta say if this is the price I have to pay for these then so be it. They're amazing. I continually see reviews giving this a 4 out of 5 stars but when you read why it's always because of two things 1) the carry case is ridiculous and 2) you need to buy another wire if you want to use a cable to connect to a 3.5 mm jack. The loss of a star has nothing to do with the quality build and the exceptional sound with a perfect balance between low, mid and highs. And the ANC is superb but the passive sound mode makes it feel like you're not wearing anything at all. You could hear a mouse burp. You only live once. Why not experience everything at a ten. This is a ten. Enjoy!

I was undecided on which air pods pro to get, finally decided on the nice color an overall good quality. They look very aesthetic and good brand.

Expensive but I do not feel cheated. These headphones connect between Apple products seamlessly. The transparency mode feels like nothing is on my ears. The functionality of the knob and button are perfect for easy use. When in Noise Cancellation, the world around you goes silent. I do not have to raise the volume to drown out outside noise. The sound is very clear with great instrument separation and a wide sound stage. I really recommend listening to movies. It is a home theater on your head. Playing music of all genres has been enjoyable. These are the best headphones that Apple make. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Love but also don't love the price. the sound is good but could be better, the noise canceling is pretty good. u can hear the wind a lot if you have them in normal mode and that's very annoying on runs, sometimes they don't stay on my head great I think these r def more for aesthetic purposes but there is better headphones out there for less or about the same price. would love these more if they were like $300

When people say the sound quality of these headphones are good, it's true. I love the ease of use and connectivity which makes it hassle-free. The noise cancelling mode does its job and makes for the perfect accessory when travelling or studying. There are a lot of different modes which is great for customizing to your wants and needs. They're super comfortable too and can be worn literally all day without any discomfort. Only complaint I have is that they feel a bit heavy and ride down my forehead when I do tedious activities but other than that, I don't have any problems with it! However, they are a bit pricey and there are other headphones worth taking a look at when it comes to price.

Must have if you are an Apple nerd. AirPod Pros are fine for listening to music or podcasts, but if you want to beef up the sound go with these. When I really want to hear all the background in a particular song or when watching TV shows and movies, these are my go to. They are a little bit heavy, but not uncomfortable on the head. I wanted to save a little on the price so I bought mine as Open Box. The only issue was that the previous owners Apple ID was still linked to the headset. I had to do a factory reset in order to set it up for my Apple ID. Easily connects to my other Apple products. I've used Beats in the past and these feel more durable and better quality.

I normally can’t wear headphones for very long, but these are really comfortable to wear while working out. The sound quality is definitely the best out of any headphones I’ve tried. The noise cancellation is very good, and the transparency mode makes it sound like you’re not even wearing headphones. One critique I’d give is that they’re pretty insulated, so your ears may get a bit sometimes, but I’ve mostly gotten used to it. They’re also able to connect to non-Apple devices, but the sound quality is significantly reduced. Hoping to see that change if/when Apple makes a new model
