Since most of my devices are apple, I gave a try to the airpods max mainly to be used for leisure and around the office, sound quality they are really good and you can listen to clear music and outstanding for videos with the spatial audio which I love, noise canceling in my experience on of the best if not the best in the market, and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time or on plane trips.

I really like the blue color. I don’t enjoy having anything in my ears so these are perfect. I wear them to clean my house and walking. They are super comfortable.

The color, the build, the quality, the sound... everything about these headphones is amazing! When you turn the volume up the bass and other acoustics do not decline, like other headphones, which is a huge thing for me. The battery life is also decent. However, my only critique is I wish they had some type of water resistance so I could use them at the gym. But that is not a deal breaker for me. Highly recommended, especially if you can get them on sale.

Very comfy fit, excellent sound and great noise isolation on flights. Battery life is incredible. Only used 40% on 3.5 hr flight. Creates the ability to isolate myself in my own world to work, think, or just plain rest, relax, and recuperate.

Wanted a comfortable headset with excellent sound quality. That's what I got. External noise cancellation is really good, not perfect. Tested during flight to Chicago. Cancelled airplane engine noise really well. The feel and weight are telling of the quality. The case is somewhat awkward but considering the shape it does its job pretty well. I'm happy with this purchase. Created shortcut on my device to prevent Bluetooth connections to get mixed up. A bit pricey.

These things have saved me with all of the work trips I’ve had to take. The noise cancellation is top notch. After I’ve boarded my plane, the first thing I do is put these on and cancel everyone else out. Comfortable to wear, and they sound awesome.

Really good wireless earphone. Very easy to use and set up with apple products. If you are an android owner I would suggest either the Bose QC ultra or the Sony xm4 or xm5. Not that these won’t work but you will be missing out on some features (like Spatial Audio) so, I would recommend the others I mentioned. I would also look for a sale not full msrp, they are worth the price but I see a new version coming soon. So on sale I would highly recommend , anything under 500 is good. Got mine for 449, but then changed colors and paid another 30. It was worth it to me. These are very good for music, with neutral sound, but very good. For movies these are amazing! The spatial audio is apple magic. I use mine mainly for movie and shows and these work flawlessly with Atmos and Spatial Audio programming. Very comfortable as well.

I have had sony 1000xm5 and Bose NC 700. In order of songs experience I order airpods max then bose and then sony.
Its transparency mode is best when we are indoors and bad when outdoors.
It is heavy but very very comfortable to wear for hours at stretch.
It will pick up all the noises in background while you are on office call. Bose and Sony does far better job there. Even airpods pro gen 2 fail there so I am not expecting a drastic change in airpods max with H2 chip as well.

Love my AirPods Max Pro headphones! I could never wear in the ear phones as they always hurt my sensitive ears. These felt a little heavy and I thought they would be uncomfortable too but I quickly got used to them. The sound is awesome and I love having option of noise cancellation and transparency. Very easy to toggle back and forth

If you’ve got $500 extra laying around I’d say go for it. The main draw for me was the build quality and the fact that I’m already so deep in the Apple ecosystem so it didn’t take much to convince myself to take the leap. If you aren’t in the ecosystem already, I’d say maybe try these and some other headphone out to see if you want to spend the extra $100 for a similar product. I came from the Bose QC 35II and the things the AirPods do better are
1.) Noise cancellation - in the QC35’s there’s a very quiet hiss that comes with its noise cancellation, the AirPods Max have little to no hiss
2.) Build quality- I don’t have to explain this one, the construction feels solid as it’s all metal and has a very premium feel. Very solid
And 3.) Transparency mode - Transparency mode feels like you aren’t even wearing headphones. It sounds better than not wearing them. By far the best transparency mode I’ve ever had.
If you do buy these, use the app “mimi” to take the hearing test and it personalize a new for yourself and the sound quality will be even more amazing

I have not been disappointed with any Apple products yet, and this AirPod Max has also not disappointed me. I have had several less expensive headsets in the past and they quickly break and usually have lesser sound quality. I am not an audio engineer of any degree, but listening to spatial audio sleep music at night when drifting off is definitely better with this headset than any I have had in the past. The fit is great, and unlike my AirPods, this does not as easily fall off and get lost in the bed. When playing online games like World of Warcraft they may be overkill, but still a good fit, the noise cancelation is impressive, and her mic works great.. Charging is easy. Carry case is a nice feature when not in use. I would recommend this to anyone on the Apple bandwagon who is looking for a quality headset which fits seamlessly in their Apple environment.

Other than the price these Headphones are perfect in every way. Better than the Bose 700 or Sony. Noise canceling is just as good maybe even better than Bose. Nice sound profile not too bassy. Very comfortable to wear for hours doesn’t make my ears hurt like the Sony did. Love the metallic finish. Apple hit everything just right. Only minus is the price, but you do get what you pay for,a high quality premium headphones.

The Apple Pro Max headphone has excellent sound quality, perfect noise cancellation, and beautify color and design. It worked on southwest air flight without the need for an audio adaptor. It connected automatically to the Wi-Fi of the airplane. I love this headphones but I had to return it because it was very heavy in my head and too bulky and uncomfortable on my neck. Other than that I would by it again if Apple make it lighter and make the cups lay flat around the neck.

I have the airpod pros and loved them but wanted headphones like these for certain things so I didn’t have to worry about them falling out. I have bought a few different kinds of similar ones, but none of them compare to these. The sound quality is amazing. Headphones cover my ears perfectly unlike others. Very comfortable. Definitely worth the money

The headphones are very good. They have a solid feel and have Apple quality. They are heavier than other brands but the sound and noise canceling is equal or better than the others. They work best with apple products to include the iPhone and iPAD but also can be connected to Samsung and other products. They are very expensive and I am not sure if the extra expense translates to a better product.

I normally can’t wear headphones for very long, but these are really comfortable to wear while working out. The sound quality is definitely the best out of any headphones I’ve tried. The noise cancellation is very good, and the transparency mode makes it sound like you’re not even wearing headphones. One critique I’d give is that they’re pretty insulated, so your ears may get a bit sometimes, but I’ve mostly gotten used to it. They’re also able to connect to non-Apple devices, but the sound quality is significantly reduced. Hoping to see that change if/when Apple makes a new model
