Good not great. 3.5/5 overall Comfort: Heavy (3/5.) Build quality: Soild! Best on the market. (5/5) Sound quality: HiFi for sure but max loudness is too quiet!!! (4/5) Value: Easily overpriced by $200 (1/5) iOS integration/distinguishing factors: ANC is extremely good and spatial audio is the best I’ve heard in headphones (5/5) Has a truly ugly and useless case that should be leather not silicone and actually protect the more than half a grand headphones! This is the first Apple product I can’t recommend. Mostly the price point but also the features won’t be noticeable to most over a pair of AirPod Pros for far less money.

Love them super comfortable . Recommend then for the gym or for traveling

To be honest, when I first started using these I thought that I had made a huge mistake by buying them. They sounded way below average… after doing a little research I began to play with some settings on my iPhone and realized that I was way off on a lot of audio settings. After adjusting some audio settings in the accessibility settings and then turning on spatial audio I can say with complete confidence that these are the best headphones that I’ve ever listened with. The headphones are heavy but it doesn’t not translate while wearing, the headband design does an excellent job distributing the weight to a level where you don’t notice it. You know, it took two days but these went from a horrible purchase to the best headphones that I’ve ever owned.

Number 1 rated for me the sound quality is superb. The cancellation of noise is top tier. I love his ur in ur own cinema, your own private concert. The sleek design is giving what it came to give. The comfort is unmatched by the other brands. This is definitely a great product and gift for someone who travels or just wants to have something that’s is great. Will recommend to everyone who wants to experience a touch of magic. And you can engrave to add a more personal touch !

Let’s get it out of the way. The shelf price of these is just too much compared to some competitors. I bought my set open-box and burned my gift card stash to bring the cost down to a level I was happy with paying. Four stars instead of five just for the cost. That said, these are excellent headphones sound-wise and would get five stars if it were on sound alone! I’ve used them on an airplane and had one of the best travel listening experiences ever. The noise cancellation is amazing for that kind of situation and the Transparency feature lets in outside sounds just as well for when I expressly don’t want to tune out the world. I’m not an audiophile and don’t have a giant library of lossless recordings that I’m nitpicking but for everyday listening the sound is off the charts good. I’ll also say that you will probably want a nicer case than the one they come with. While it protects against scratches, that’s about it. For headphones this pricy, I wanted more protection. Bottom line? Great headphones, but try to buy them on sale.

While the build quality is solid, the headphones are quite heavy, which could be uncomfortable for long periods of use, especially during activities like exercising. The over-ear design is comfortable for extended listening sessions, but because of the weight, these headphones might not be the best fit for the gym or outdoor workouts. The Lightning connection is convenient for Apple users, but it may limit compatibility with non-Apple devices. Overall, the AirPods Max is a good choice for home listening or commuting, but its weight and lower sound levels might not make it the best option for active use.

Love them! Crystal clear music, feels like a live concert when working out with these on!

Literally the most amazing headphones you could ever buy. Audiophiles look no further. I was actually mad at myself after trying them to see what they were all about, because right after buying them I immediately had to buy a pair. These have the most amazing sound quality out of any pair of headphones I have ever used. Even some of those that were top dollar. I know these aren't cheap by a long shot but I promise you the investment is worth it!

The transparency and ANC modes on these are amazing, better than the experience you will get from the earbud style AirPods Pro. It’s great to have Siri integrated as well. The listening experience is great but they are heavy and will move on your head. There are products out there to cover the headband to keep them from moving and also protect the mesh. There are also products to cover the inner and outer portion of ear pieces because they will scratch or dent if you are not careful with them, the ear cans are made out of aluminum which is a softer metal. These are not for everyone and you will either love them or hate them. If you like luxury listening for long periods of time, and you are an apple loyal consumer these will be great for you.

I was not expecting these headphones to be this good. They have exceeded my expectations. Best headphones I’ve ever owned, hands down.

As a headphone enthusiast, I wasn't very enthused with the announcement price of $550 for Apple's flagship headphone. The case is horrendous for the asking price and pairing them with an Android provides about as much use case as any other BT headphone you can buy at Wal-Mart. It's what these babies can do when paired to an Apple device that really adds some useful quirks. Right off the bat, transparency mode is the best of any headphone on the planet. It's simply mind blowing how good it is. Noise-Cancelling is not too far behind as well, besting even the Bose NC700. However, is it worth paying the additional $150-$200? If you can catch these on sale for over $100 off and have already integrated into the Apple ecosystem, I say go for it. Sound quality is good, however, they sound better with the wired cable.

Noise-canceling is great. Light weight Easy to connect

I have been wanting these for eons, but never mustered up the courage to splurge on them! I have a pair of the Limited Edition Bose Comfort 35ii, which are great…but being an Apple girl, I wanted to have these too! So after years of wanting, I bought myself a pair and am so happy I did! The sound quality is amazing, they’re comfy and I cannot wait tobuse them on our flight to Barbados in a week!!!

Airpods were great even after 2 years of everyday use. Have not had any issues!
