I have not been blown away by anything on these headphones. They sound great, but not “other worldly”. They are solidly built, but feel heavy on your head (Male, 43). The case is ridiculous in that it does not protect the head strap. I have AirPod Pros and those have been the best bang for the buck headphones from Apple. These are perfect if you enjoy sitting and listening to music and even then you will always know and feel that these are on your head. Pros: great sound and noise cancellation Cons: weight and adjusting them without hitting a button can be tricky. Do not hang around your neck well if you decide to take them off for a minute Buy air pod pros if you want really good and versatile headphones

I owned a Bose Q45 and was thinking to upgrade to a Q700 but decided to give these a tried. I am glad I did. Even though they are more expensive, for Apple product users, these are the way to go. Seamless connectivity to all your Apple devices and best of all, it is very light even though it feels heavy.

Great headphones. Works perfectly with Apple products as well as non-Apple products. My partner has connected it to his phone, laptop, and gaming system. The battery life on them is exceptional. I am so glad I got them for him as a Christmas gift.

Outstanding sound quality and excellent noise cancellation are the 2 things I love. I bought these to replace AirPods Pro that would never stay seated in my ears. These solve the issue and provide a better overall experience. Much better battery life and comfortable to wear all day. My only complaint is that they're somewhat heavy.

I am so Happy with my purchase of the Apple AirPod Max! The sound and phone integration are flawless!! I have had the AirPod Pros for a few years now but these put them to shame. Well worth the money if you have been contemplating getting them.

Love these headphones. The quality is amazing and the noise cancellation feature awesome. When you turn off the noise cancellation and use the headphones to hear your environment, it sounds amazing. The only thing it that you should probably purchase an extra pair of ear cushions. One pair for walking around or exercise and one for just chilling. The cushions can really absorb sweat and get stained easily. And yes they are pretty pricey.

The quality and sound are amazing... Love them.. You can also get additional pieces to protect them.

No issues with the function of how it works or anything, but I got it open box excellent and when I opened it, the product itself absolutely stunk of weed. So much so that after numerous attempts to clean the ear pieces and treat them for the smell, I had to just buy new ones. I would have thought they would have at least been ensured they were clean.

I was waiting until I could find a good price on these headphones and the open box option from best buy was a great surprise. The product was impeccable. The quality of these headphones is something you need to experience yourself. It’s one of the most rewarding purchases I have made in the last couple of years. The sound is balanced and the noise cancellation is amazing. If you can afford them, go for it. You won’t regret it.

Love the comfort and it doesnt hurt my ears or head after long periods of time. Which is difficult to find when you wear glasses. Sound quality and noise cancellation is superb, wore them on a noisy flight and couldnt even notice the other passengers.

Excellent product from Apple! The best active noise cancellation at this price point. They aren’t the lightest headphones in their class but the construction feels solid and materials used have amazing quality. A must if you’re invested in Apple’s ecosystem as the ease of use and connectivity is second to none.

These headphones are pricey but well worth! I especially love the background noice.

Personally found these to be worth the price. Great sound and are very comfortable. Usually over the ear headphones would make my ears and head hurt after an hour, but I can go hours wearing these comfortably. They work best with Apple Music with the DolbyAtmos and lossless features.

These are really, really premium-priced headphones, and aren’t the best choice for most people. But they are as smart as the AirPods Pro, and as convenient to use with multiple Apple devices. They’re very comfortable. The top of my head hates headphone bands, and the stretchy material on these alleviates that for me completely. They sound fantastic, and have a soundstage that might not be 100% like my open air headphones, but is pretty darn close.

Don’t read too much into the 3 star rating. This was actually tricky to choose the right rating for a few simple reasons. The AirPods Max are very, very good all-around headphones. I mean they basically cover every single base required for this type of headphone. Battery will get you a reliable 20 hours, if you’re including something like a couple long work meetings using the microphone, too. The call quality will not disappoint. Used it on a couple different devices, from everything from a basic phone call, to FaceTime, to group meetings on Zoom. And in every case, didn’t have an issue. As for music/movie sound quality, again they almost certainly won’t disappoint. They’re perfectly good. As for comfort, I found this aspect put it solidly as a serious competitor in its field. Felt plenty roomy around the ears, and nothing got notably uncomfortable after even a full day of use. In fact, the only thing I would say is a legitimate fault of it is the function/volume crown (knob) at the top. It’s extremely sensitive and you can easily accidentally crank the volume right as you’re putting the headphones on. But it’s not enough to necessarily be a dealbreaker. So if it clears every bar in its category, why 3 stars? Because it doesn’t clear any criteria better than any competitors. I think most people would find the Sony or Bose edge these out in comfort. The Sony really does still have an edge over the others. Maybe not by a mile. But a solid edge. And the call quality is just as good as others, but not necessarily notably better. I feel at this price, it should stand out as the solid best in at least one criteria. It doesn’t really have faults that are a real dealbreaker, which is actually quite impressive for a first generation product. But it doesn’t really have anything uniquely innovative. And being Apple, that does make it feel like it’s not worth the price tag. Maybe the next generation will be super impressive and innovative.

I bought two of these as gifts via open box from BB, and I did not realize that the “Excellent” but not “Excellent - Certified” most likely means that they will be tied to someone else’s AppleID. I had to connect to both in order to confirm that they were tied to another AppleID, thus giving my location to two people I do not know. Indeed, they were, which was unfortunate, as I would have just bought new ones instead of Open Box, which made for a disappointing gift m. Though a Total Tech Member, BB wasn’t all that helpful in getting new ones ordered. As for the headphones, they will work even if tied to another AppleID, and they are amazing. The noise cancelling function was the best I’ve ever heard. Glad I ordered new ones that will be tied to my own Apple ID.
