First off. These are very good. However they are not good enough for me to keep them for the price. The Sony wh‑1000xm4‘s are pretty much just as good and about half the price. I had the XM4s first and loved them. Then when the Max’s came out I really wanted them as I am a huge Apple guy. However I just couldn’t justify that price with already owning what many reviewers call the best NC headphone out there. However eventually the price came down and I had $50 Best Buy card so I figured between that and being able to sell my XM4s for around $200 it was worth the jump. 2 months later I still have both headphones and now I’m about the sell the Max’s. To most people there is absolutely no difference in sound quality or noise cancellation. The Apple’s look cooler however they are not as comfortable for longer periods of use. Really even shorter periods. What makes them look cool and feel more like a luxury item also makes them heavy and less comfortable in comparison to the Sonys. Also Dolby Atmos on Apple Music which was one of the reasons I thought these would be better is absolutely overhyped garbage. There are some albums mastered for it that sound cool but I’ve got thru about everything they have for it that I’d like on Apple Music and to me none of it sounds improved. Just a different mix that typically is quieter even at loud volumes and also reduces the vocal mix. So here’s the deal. I can’t vouch for anything Bose or anyone else has put out recently but my strong advice is if you’re in the market for a great pair of BTNC headphones save your money and go with the XM4s. Heck but a pair for your wife too for the price of one pair of Apple AirPod Max. Sorry Apple. I love you and will typically pay a premium price for your products but not this time. These just aren’t good enough.

Obsessed!! Noise cancellation is amazing and this is perfect for traveling or just working out in. I love these headphones and have recommended them to many people.

Great sound and NC and excellent call quality, a bit tight on my head but overall comfortable. They are probably a bit better than the competitive brands from Sony and Bose but not a huge delta. Bottom line, if you are invested in the Apple eco-system and have the money, go for it. Either of the lower cost competitors offer similar quality and you won't be disappointed with them either. They are large for travel, if you plan to be on planes, trains and out about, not the best choice, they are heavy and big.

Definitely apples best headphones, I got them for my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day and she absolutely loves them a little on the pricey side compared to the regular AirPod pros but I think it’s worth it.

Love love love .. been eying these headphones for quite some time and finally had the courage to get them . Not only are the slick looking but the sound is amazing . If you have the funds to spurge , get them you won’t regret it .

The experience of listening to music just got so much better. But!! I don’t like the fact I have issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Not sure if it’s the phone or the headphones.

I loved the Apple AirPods Max- the sound is great, they are extremely comfortable, and connect instantly. The only problem is they aren’t good for working out-they don’t stay on my head if I’m laying on the bench and if I’m doing cardio, sweat soaks into the ear cup part- so they aren’t optimal for that. But everyday wear- they are perfect.

Absolutely fantastic!! I own PXC550 and my wife has the Bose 700 and these blow them out of the water. I use a FLAC streaming service to maximize the clarity and it really stands out on these headphones. Price is high but you get what you pay for. Great soundstage, clarity, and overall volume for Bluetooth headphones. I was hesitant given the price but couldn’t be happier. Apple nailed this one!

I’ve never been as pleased using an over-the-ear headphone. Ease of integration with both my iphone and iPad was as simple as bringing both devices within proximity of one another. The sound quality of both music and ohone calls out if the box was perfect.

Good headphones for anything , gym , home , school you name it.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my brother. Sound quality is good, but they are a bit heavy on the head, my Sony xm4s are lighter. They work great but they stopped charging after about a week, thankfully Best Buy was great to work with and they quickly and easily replaced them for a new pair. So far haven’t had any problems with the new pair.

Amazing quality, I’m not sure why I waited so long. I use these for work (remote worker here) and to listen to music.

They live up to the hype! My daughter got these for Christmas and was completely surprised at how great these actually are. True noise canceling, true surround sound, and for comfortably. She walks around in them non stop!

My wife loves the comfort and noise cancellation these headphones offer. As well as how easily they connect to her iPhone and iPad with the Apple H1 chip or is it the W1 chip? I first fell in love with these headphones when I saw them on display at Best Buy and tried them on I was awe at how quiet everything got in the noisy store!
